SYMPOSIUM HELD IN
SWITZERLAND IN 1991.
• THE CEFR WAS PILOTED IN
PROVISIONAL VERSIONS IN 1996
AND 1998 BEFORE BEING
PUBLISHED IN ENGLISH
(CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS)
IN 2001.
• NOW IT HAS BEEN
TRANSLATED TO 40
LANGUAGES.
