5. AFQevo Active Multi-Function Filter
Auto-diagnosis
AFQevo features an internal auto-diagnosis system
that is activated during start-up, which shows the
user whether the unit is operating correctly or there
is a connection problem. The messages are shown
automatically on its TFT touch-screen display, guaran-
teeing that they are viewed immediately. This guar-
antees the correct operation of the filter and prevents
damage caused by an incorrect installation.

Expandable
AFQevo enables parallel installation of up to 100 filters*.
This option greatly increases installation flexibility in the
event of future filtering needs due to load expansion or
as a result of changes in consumption habits.
The capacity to operate in parallel allows the system
to use redundancy strategies and achieve top
performance of the units. Therefore, the units operate
within their highest range of efficiency, resulting in the
uniform wear of all of their components.

AFQevo Active Multi-Function Filter
Datalogger
AFQevo features a 2 Gb internal memory to record
the load curve of the following parameters during
each phase: voltage, mains and load current, active
power in the mains and load, reactive power in the
mains and load, THDi (total), internal temperature
and % use of the filter.
Smart thermal management
system
AFQevo can adjust the turning speed of its fans,
according to the needs of each moment, with the
purpose of minimising the noise generated by the unit
and maximising their working life. This guarantees the
highest efficiency throughout the working temperature
range, detection of ventilation system deterioration
and the implementation of preventive maintenance
actions.

AFQevo features a firmware security system, in
compliance with the IEC 60730 Standard, which

Parallel multifunction active filter
Description
The AFQevo parallel multifunction active filter is the most complete solution for solving
power quality problems related to industrial, commercial or service installations with
presence of harmonics, consumption of reactive power (usually capacitive) and also phase
unbalance. The AFQevo is meant for wall-mounting thanks to its small size to facilitate its
installation.
The features and functions implemented are:
— Filtering capacity of 30 A
— Reduced metallic enclosure for wall assembly. Its compact dimensions make
it easy to install.
— Range of filters for installations with 3 wires (3W model) or 4 wires (4W model)
— Multi-range voltage and dual frequency (50/60 Hz).
— Reduction of harmonic currents up to the 50th harmonic (2,500 Hz).
— Selection of harmonic frequencies to be filtered so to reach the filter’s highest
effectiveness.

Description
The AFQevo cabinet series parallel multifunction active filter is the most complete solution for
solving Quality problems related to industrial, commercial or services installations with presence
of harmonics, consumption of reactive power (usually capacitive) and also phase unbalance. This
AFQevo is meant rack mounting into market standard cabinets, designed to facilitate its installation.
The implemented features and functions are:
— Filtering capacity from 100 to 200 A for each cabinet.
— Reduced rack dimensions to be installed easily in standard cabinets.
— Range of filters for installations with 3 wires (3W model) or 4 wires (4W model).
