Media Studies Opening Sequence
Uche is suitable for that role, because
he is wearing glasses and represents
the outlook of a unconfident boy.
Moreover, he will wear clothes, which
do not cause attention to him, which is
a stereotype of students who are
victim of bullying, especially at college
or school.
Uche can play the stereotype of a
wallflower boy, because he is not
too tall and not too strong and
easily can represent a victim.
Furthermore, he can looks innocent,
as well.
He is taller and stronger, which emphasise that he can
bully the protagonist. Moreover, his voice is very low,
which is another evidence of his dominating position in
our opening sequence. His body position and
movements emphasise that he can play as a “gangsta”
boy who likes to show his power to weaker ones.
