Ventilation Pipes: To prevent the build-

installed. These pipes extended fromthe
sewerage system, usually through the
roof, to allow the release of gases and

INFORMATION
Drainage System
• The drainage system facilitates the removal
of wastewater and sewage from the house.
• Components of a drainage system:
• Drainpipes
• Sewer lines
• Septic tank or connection to the
municipal sewer system
• Ventilation system
• Drainage system maintenance:
• Regular inspection for clogs or leaks
• Avoid flushing non-biodegradable
items
• Septic tank pumping (if applicable)
• Proper drainage system design for
effective flow
Purpose: The primary purpose of a drainage system is to channel water away
from the building or site to prevent water accumulation, which can lead to
structural damage, dampness, and mold growth.
Components: A drainage system typically includes various components, such
as gutters, downspouts, pipes, drains, and grading. These components work
together to collect and direct water away from the building or site.
Roof Drainage: The roof drainage system consists of gutters and downspouts.
Gutters are troughs that collect rainwater running off the roof, and
downspouts are vertical pipes that carry the water from the gutters to the
ground or a stormwater system
Surface Drainage: Surface drainage deals with managing water that falls on
the ground or flows over the site. It involves grading the land to create
slopes and contouring to direct water away from the building. Surface
drains and catch basins may be used to collect and divert surface water.
Subsurface Drainage: Subsurface drainage handles groundwater and
prevents it from seeping into basements or accumulating near the
foundation. It typically involves the use of drain pipes installed below
ground level to collect and divert water away from the building
When creating an architecture drawing, the drainage system is
typically depicted using symbols and annotations to indicate the
location and type of drainage components, pipe sizes, and directions
of water flow. These drawings help contractors and construction
teams understand and implement the design accurately.
It is important to consult with a qualified architect, engineer, or other
relevant professionals to ensure that the drainage system in your
architecture drawing meets local regulations and effectively manages
water flow for your specific project.

Electrical drawings in architecture are an essential part of
building design and construction. These drawings provide
detailed information about the electrical systems and
components within a building, allowing electricians and
contractors to install and connect the electrical
infrastructure accurately. Here are some key points about
electrical drawings in architecture

  • 28. GO——AL INFORMATION Drainage System • The drainage system facilitates the removal of wastewater and sewage from the house. • Components of a drainage system: • Drainpipes • Sewer lines • Septic tank or connection to the municipal sewer system • Ventilation system • Drainage system maintenance: • Regular inspection for clogs or leaks • Avoid flushing non-biodegradable items • Septic tank pumping (if applicable) • Proper drainage system design for effective flow
  • 29. Purpose: The primary purpose of a drainage system is to channel water away from the building or site to prevent water accumulation, which can lead to structural damage, dampness, and mold growth. Components: A drainage system typically includes various components, such as gutters, downspouts, pipes, drains, and grading. These components work together to collect and direct water away from the building or site. Roof Drainage: The roof drainage system consists of gutters and downspouts. Gutters are troughs that collect rainwater running off the roof, and downspouts are vertical pipes that carry the water from the gutters to the ground or a stormwater system Surface Drainage: Surface drainage deals with managing water that falls on the ground or flows over the site. It involves grading the land to create slopes and contouring to direct water away from the building. Surface drains and catch basins may be used to collect and divert surface water. Subsurface Drainage: Subsurface drainage handles groundwater and prevents it from seeping into basements or accumulating near the foundation. It typically involves the use of drain pipes installed below ground level to collect and divert water away from the building
  • 30. When creating an architecture drawing, the drainage system is typically depicted using symbols and annotations to indicate the location and type of drainage components, pipe sizes, and directions of water flow. These drawings help contractors and construction teams understand and implement the design accurately. It is important to consult with a qualified architect, engineer, or other relevant professionals to ensure that the drainage system in your architecture drawing meets local regulations and effectively manages water flow for your specific project.
