Digital Kitchen is a design and motion graphics studio that has created many television title sequences since being founded in 1955. One of their most notable works was the title sequence for the HBO series True Blood. For this sequence, Digital Kitchen sought to portray the themes and setting of the show through seemingly found imagery from the real world, using shots of dead animals, religious symbols, and sexual references to hint at the gory and provocative nature of the series in a way that distinguished it from other vampire stories at the time.
