This study surveyed 270 patients to assess their awareness, perceived benefits, and intent to participate in various pharmacy services such as adherence packaging, medication therapy management, automatic refill, delivery, and refill synchronization. The study found that the majority of patients were not aware of services like medication therapy management, refill synchronization, and adherence packaging. Several factors predicted how patients perceived the benefits of services, such as age, income, number of medications, and awareness of the service. The strongest predictor of intent to participate in most services was feeling more in control of medication taking. The study concludes that pharmacists should better inform patients about available services and emphasize how services can help patients feel more in control of their medication regimens.

Barcelona, 23 de Juny de 1936
Apreciada Griselda, m’he quedat bocabadada de l’arribada d’aquesta carta. És increïble
tornar a saber de tu després de tant de temps, i més, sabent el que va passar i la relació que
vam tenir tu i jo. El que més em sorprèn és que vulguis saber com estem tots, tot i el passat,
però suposo que el passat ja ha quedat enrere, encara que algunes ferides mai es tanquen. El
darrer que penses d’una persona que ho ha abandonat tot, és que t’escrigui per saber com
estàs i com van les coses. Em costa creure-ho però suposo que alguna part de tu va quedar
aquí, abans d’anar-te’n, i per això vols estar informada. Això és l’únic que vull creure. Saps que
mai he estat una noia rancorosa, però crec que en Mateu es mereix que sàpigues el captiveri
que li vas fer passar. No vull que t’ho prenguis com si et volgués acusar i atacar de tot el que va
passar, però com comprendràs, en Mateu ha perdut molt i ha quedat molt enderrocat i es
mereix que tu, que l’has fet tant de mal siguis conscient del que vas fer.
Des que vas anar-te’n amb aquell home ric, en Mateu ha viscut moltes desgràcies, i el pitjor de
tot, és que no li han donat cap descans, una darrera l’altre . No el tinc devora però puc dir-te
que pateix molt. En Mateu no sabia com havia de reaccionar, de fet, el que més mal li va fer ,
va ser que t’emportessis a la nena, això va ser terrible. La teva traïció va fer que en Mateu
canviés en tots els aspectes, ja no era el mateix, es turmentava preguntant-se si t’havia fet
alguna cosa dolenta. Sempre ens deia que no sabia perquè el vas deixar i ens demanava si ell
havia fet alguna cosa que t’hagués sabut greu. Nosaltres l’hem ajudat tot el que hem pogut
però ell enyora aquells dies que havia viscut amb tu, i sobretot, enyorava, com si de la seva
vida es tractés, a la seva filla. Si almenys li haguessis deixat a la nena, hauria tingut algú amb
qui compartir la seva vida. Griselda, vas abandonar a un home que potser no fos ric, ni tant
jove ni decidit, però t’estimava i també estimava a la seva filla. Aquest, ja casi ha desaparegut,
crec , si encara existeix, que deu ser molt dins seu i no crec que surti, a no ser que torni la seva
persona desitjada. Com tu molt bé has dit, en Mateu t’estima però aquest amor es troba molt
a dins seu. T’agraeixo que reconeguis que l’error va ser teu i apreciï-ho que vulguis tornar i
refer la teva vida, la qual vas portar tan magníficament amb en Mateu. Abans de parlar amb
ell, jo no sabia si en Mateu voldria tornar amb tu o no. El que sí que sabia, era que ell estimava
a la seva filla i a la dona que va conèixer fa un quants anys. T’he de dir que l’he vist molt
decaigut i trist, per això dubto que vulgui tornar-te a veure. Al principi, no sabia com
reaccionaria al saber que vols tornar amb ell. Em pensava que diria de tot, i que no em voldria
escoltar. Però et diré que no m’esperava, en absolut, la resposta que m’ha donat en Mateu.
En Mateu va posar-se molt content quan va saber que m’havien arribat notícies de tu. Li vaig
dir el que m’havies contat de què el trobes a faltar, de que amb ell tot té un sentit, i de que
amb ell et trobes segura de la guerra i els mals que passes, i en fi que vols tornar amb ell i
recuperar el temps perdut i passar-lo junts . Ell va quedar-se una estona callat amb els ulls que
li brillaven, i de cop i volta, em va dir que et digués que sí, que no s’imagina l’alegria que li faria
tornar a veure a la seva filla i poder-la abraçar. Després, quan es va tranquil·litzar, em va dir
que ell també t’ha trobat molt a faltar però que ha comprès que si te’n vas anar va ser perquè
ell no et donava prou i, segons ell, segueix sent el mateix i no sap si podreu tornar a ser com
abans, però que per la nena i per aquells anys tan bons, ho intentarà.
