• I’m currently Vice President in Gartner
Consulting, responsible of the European sourcing
practice within Financial segment. In this role I’m
responsible for selling and delivering sourcing
project to large financial institutions.
• The projects I’m responsible of are in the area of
management consulting, typical assignments
include:
– Definition of sourcing strategy
– Vendor selection and contract negotiation of complex
outsourcing deals
– Vendor consolidation in the application development and
maintenance area
– Support to purchasing department in defining internal
processes, service catalogue and related market prices

CURRENT EMPLOYMENT
• As an example of relevant accomplishment I can
quote the support I gave to a large Italian bank in
the outsourcing of their IT infrastructure in 6
European countries. The deal was the largest
ever signed in Italy. My assignment lasted 11
months ad included:
– Vendor Selection: definition of short list of vendors to be
invited to the tender. Definition and management of
tender process. RFP preparation. Proposals evaluation.
Contract Negotiation: negotiation strategy definition.
What if analysis of different alternatives. Negotiation with
provider (focus on Financial aspects, Benchmark, SLA’s)
– Business Case: definition of internal Business case to
compare different proposals, to evaluate different
scenarios and to demonstrate effective saving.
