8. URBAN CHARGERS

• Tender for bus operation gives little time for operators to
get permits from relevant municipalities
• Technology neutrality foster better prices and more
robust operation
• Buying a few chargers for a few lines is expensive.
• Ownership of chargers after contract
• Lines running in more than one municipality
• Solution: Framework contract
• Agreement on deployment and maintenance of
charging infrastructure in public space
• Output power options: 150 kW, 300 kW or 450 kW
• Framework contract runs for 3 years with option on
extension in up to 5 years (+ 12 years of operation)
