   Since July’09 assigned with the responsibilty as Incharge of Contracts & Procurement Cell
    for the upcoming 4 x 600 MW Thermal Power Project under the shared service department
    of Materials Management & Contracts department. The basic functional responsibilties
    include:

     Preparation & floating of Tenders for NICB (Non-International Competitive Bidding)
        Contracts, enabling project preparatory / supporting work at site
       Procurement of general administrative and free issue Material, T&P, Consumables
        required for NICB Contract work, in line with Project schedule
       Evaluation of bids, techno-commercial discussion, requirement rationalization
       Drafting & finalization of Contract / Purchase Order and regularizing through ERP
       Settlement of all techno-commercial disputes / clarifications
       Handling time extension and liquidated damages cases with vendors and client
       Regularization of ICB Contracts in ERP by posting Work / Purchase Orders and facilitating
        Material receipt and invoicing
       Development of Contractors for direct / indirect Project works.
       Rate analysis for new service items.
       Lead the entire contracting and procurement process including evaluation, negotiations
        and approvals

   From April’08 till June’09 developed Contracts Cell under Materials Management &
    Contracts department. The basic functional responsibilties include:

     Developing standard operating procedures
     Standardizing terms and conditions
     Strengthening contractor base

    successfully completed packages of ‘Fuel Oil Handling’ System, ‘CW-ACW-RW & Misc.’
