BRAINSTORMING DEFINITION Brainstorming is a group creativity technique designed to generate a large number of ideas for the solution of a problem. The  team will be exposed to the NOMINAL GROUP TECHNIQUE.  They will have the opportunity to practice the method with one another in a relevant training activity. COLLABORATION DEFINITION Occurs when both parties are highly cooperative, assertive and work together to maximize outcomes. Team performance is a critical component of team’s success. There are two styles of collaboration which Camanda ET presents. The team will learn the two styles of collaboration followed by an activity that will require it’s application. CONFLICT RESOLUTION DEFINITION Conflict arises when 2+ individuals perceive that their goals are in opposition. Five conflict resolution approaches will be explored through instruction. The team will engage in an exciting and challenging physical activity that entails resolving a conflict by using the newly gained conflict resolution techniques. LISTENING DEFINITION Listening is a process that integrates physical, emotional, & intellectual inputs in a search for meaning & understanding. Listening must become the central focus if the individual is to become effective communicator The team uses the Hurier listening model to practice and improve this skill in a related listening activity. HURIER LISTENING MODEL The Modelis an example of a behavioral approach that establishes listening as the central communication function. Camanda Experiential Training ©
MEMORY AID DEFINITION Mnemonics are any learning techniques that aid memory. Mnemonics rely on associations between easy-to-remember constructs such as special, personal, surprising or humorous information which can be related back to the data that is to be remembered. The learners can recover past information by  getting to understand several recognition styles and then using one of four  proven memorization methods. The team will experience a highly effective memorization exercise that will become invaluable when memorizing critical information.  MEMORY AID  MODEL Camanda Experiential Training
NOTE TAKING DEFINITION the practice of recording information captured from a source such as, an oral discussion or a lecture. In order to be a good note taker one must be able to listen for main ideas. Participants will take notes from a professional speaker, later, they will correct their own notes based on new note taking technique. NOTE TAKING MODEL Camanda Experiential Training ©
SYNERGY DEFINITION Synergy occurs when people together create new alternatives & solutions that are better than their individual efforts. Work Teams generate positive synergy through coordinated effort. Your employees will be given an opportunity to compare individual & team performance in solving a mind stimulating challenge, by applying synergy concepts. SYNERGY MODEL Camanda Experiential Training ©
TEAM EFFECTIVENESS DEFINITION A team that is able to leverage the team dynamics , key team components, to accomplish its goals. The participants must balance all of the critical team dynamics in order to be effective at accomplishing assigned task.   • 3. BRAINSTORMING DEFINITION Brainstorming is a group creativity technique designed to generate a large number of ideas for the solution of a problem. The team will be exposed to the NOMINAL GROUP TECHNIQUE. They will have the opportunity to practice the method with one another in a relevant training activity.   • 4. COLLABORATION DEFINITION Occurs when both parties are highly cooperative, assertive and work together to maximize outcomes. Team performance is a critical component of team’s success. There are two styles of collaboration which Camanda ET presents. The team will learn the two styles of collaboration followed by an activity that will require it’s application.   • 5. CONFLICT RESOLUTION DEFINITION Conflict arises when 2+ individuals perceive that their goals are in opposition. Five conflict resolution approaches will be explored through instruction. The team will engage in an exciting and challenging physical activity that entails resolving a conflict by using the newly gained conflict resolution techniques.   • 6. LISTENING DEFINITION Listening is a process that integrates physical, emotional, & intellectual inputs in a search for meaning & understanding. Listening must become the central focus if the individual is to become effective communicator The team uses the Hurier listening model to practice and improve this skill in a related listening activity.   • 7. MEMORY AID DEFINITION Mnemonics are any learning techniques that aid memory. Mnemonics rely on associations between easy-to-remember constructs such as special, personal, surprising or humorous information which can be related back to the data that is to be remembered. The learners can recover past information by getting to understand several recognition styles and then using one of four proven memorization methods.   • 8. NOTE TAKING DEFINITION the practice of recording information captured from a source such as, an oral discussion or a lecture. In order to be a good note taker one must be able to listen for main ideas.
