The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is hosting a Youth Winter Academy in Rabat, Morocco from November 25 to December 2, 2017 focused on renewable energies and energy security in the Middle East and North Africa. The training will provide 60 youth leaders from MENA countries and Turkey with capacity building in negotiation, policy development, and knowledge of the renewable energy and energy security sectors through panel discussions, training, and a field visit. Participants will develop a policy paper with sustainable strategies for renewable energy and energy security from a youth perspective in MENA. All costs will be covered for selected candidates aged 30 and under who are university students or early career professionals from MENA countries or Turkey with relevant interests and English proficiency.
