This document summarizes a case report of a 61-year-old woman who developed calcific uraemic arteriolopathy (CUA), a condition characterized by small vessel calcification and occlusion leading to painful skin lesions and ulcers. She had multiple risk factors for CUA including end-stage renal failure, female sex, obesity, warfarin use, and steroid therapy. She presented with painful skin ulcers on her calves that were initially diagnosed as pressure sores or cellulitis. A biopsy revealed features of CUA. Treatment focused on wound care and infection control but her condition progressed with further ulceration and she ultimately died from sepsis.
