CAD-CAM technology was used to design and mill an inlay restoration for a tooth. The clinical procedure involved preparing the tooth for the inlay and temporarily cementing it to ensure proper fit. After confirming the fit was satisfactory, the temporary inlay was removed and the definitive ceramic inlay was fabricated using the same CAD-CAM design and cemented into the tooth.
