2. -The trailer starts off with a non-diegetic

Famous, this is to denotes the age group of the
characters, and it also starts off with a long shot
of a character skating again it echos the youth vibes
it wants to bring out.
-The long shot and mid shot of them in the car with
a bunch of friends denotes that they will be going
on a road trip going in the woods which echo the
name of the film.
3. -The Institution logo’s background is in red which is an iconography for
danger.There are two gates opening to show the fronts as if it is to
foreshadow that the characters will be trap or entering danger.
-The use of abandoned housing is a codes and convention of
the film’s chosen genre.
-As the mid- close up shot of the character on the right appeared the low
pitch non- diegetic soundtrack also appeared reaching a crescendo to
create a sense of tension, characters face expression also tighten; which
decodes that the guy might be a signifier of danger.

or a barrier which can be an enigma for the plot.
