1. The Brooks Wellness Group provides worksite Wellness programs that are
designed to assist employers in offering health promotion, health maintenance, and
disease education activities for their employees. Our Wellness programs include key
health-risk appraisal screenings targeting the leading preventable health problems
that account for the majority of health plan costs for most companies.
We have consultation services to help client companies handle the strategic planning
development, and implementation of effective corporate Wellness programs. No area
of the workplace should be ignored when it comes to a Wellness program. There are
many areas that impact the employee which ultimately may have adverse effect on
long-term health and productivity.
Wellness can be the unifying program in an effort to comply with OSHA’s requirement
for a workplace injury and illness prevention program (SB-198).
There are a number of factors that can greatly affect an
employee’s morale and well-being. The negative effects
invariably are demonstrated in the overall health status
of the employee.

2. The Brooks Wellness Group offers you many worksite Wellness services:
◊ health fairs/wellness events
◊ program planning of key health screenings
◊ health interest surveys
◊ special health promotion events (i.e., skin cancer awareness)
◊ assistance with community, EAP, and health plan resource referrals.
Some Wellness programs might be facing poor attendance and
participation, and are in need of an activity or direction to revitalize the program. Creativity and focus are
among the key elements for a successful and forward moving program. We provide a balanced approach
that is mindful of program goals and objectives, yet can be fun with a morale boost for the employees.
For those instances where a company has an ongoing Wellness program, but needs to develop it further,
we will identify and highlight likely areas where more attention and focus on certain aspects of the
Wellness program may result in positive attainment of program goals. Others might need help in the initial
start-up phase and require assistance in the organizing and planning of the “first steps” of the program.
Our client service ideals are to assist you throughout all the phases of your program—from inspiration to
implementation!
Our lifestyle and health promotion programs are designed for flexibility. We will guide you in
determining the best approach and arrange the program components for the most cost-effective
combination of offerings to match your specific goals, employee Wellness needs, and the workplace
environment.
Program choices should include basic screenings, such as blood pressure screenings, as well as more
advanced topic areas like:
Carotid Artery Ultrasound (Stroke Risk Testing)
Osteoporosis Screenings (Heel Only)
Peak Flow / Respiratory Function
Myotherapy (Chiropractic screening)

Special Services include providing Wellness services and screenings for small groups and
businesses, special events and community outreach efforts.
Usually a third party/vendor uses our services for special
promotional purposes or unique Wellness needs of a client account.
In these cases we may be transparent to the participants of the
events, meaning that we can provide the screening services as if we
are part of that organization or company. Over the years we have
done so for several health plans, pharmacy chains and other
industry related vendors. In all instances our high standards and
professionalism have never been compromised.
In this role we provide our full complement of services through the
third party (i.e., insurance brokers) and report only to the third
party leaving the leadership of the Wellness initiative with them. Our
partnership with them is to ensure a meaningful event is not only
delivered but the client is also motivated to continue the relationship
going forward.
