Distributed file system is used as a key building block of cloud computing. In distributed file system, a
large file is divided into number of chunks and allocates each chunk to separate node to perform MapReduce function
parallel over each node. In cloud, if number of storage nodes, number of files and assesses to that file increases then
the central node (master in MapReduce) becomes bottleneck. The load rebalancing task is used to eliminate the load
on central node. Using load rebalancing algorithm the load of nodes is balanced as well as the movement cost is

A Novel approach for Document Clustering using Concept ExtractionAM Publications
In this paper we present a novel approach to extract the concept from a document and cluster such set of documents depending on the concept extracted from each of them. We transform the corpus into vector space by using term frequency–inverse document frequency then calculate the cosine distance between each document, followed by clustering them using K means algorithm. We also use multidimensional scaling to reduce the dimensionality within the corpus. It results in the grouping of documents which are most similar to each other with respect to their content and the genre.
EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE & PRESSURE ON OXIDATIVE DESULFURIZATIONAM Publications
Several technologies has been developed to removal of sulfur compounds from liquid fuels is oxidative
desulfurization, hydro desulfurization, catalytic hydro desulfurization, bio desulfurization etc.. Although several studies have
reported enhancement effect of ultrasound irradiation on oxidative desulfurization, exact mechanism underlying this
enhancement is not known yet. In this study, we have addressed this issue with dual approach with how pressure and
temperature effect the desulfurization mechanism. Results of this study have given interesting revelation of interaction
between mechanism of ultrasound, cavitation and oxidation system. Isolation of cavitation phenomenon helps to increase the
extent of oxidation. This effect is attributed to formation of hydrogen and carbon monoxide during transient collapse of
cavitation bubbles due to thermal dissociation of hexane vapor entrapped in the bubble, which hamper action of O species
generated from oxidation system. Transient cavitation itself does not give rise to radical formation due to rather low
temperature peaks reached during collapse. Therefore, cavitation does not enhance the oxidation process, but in fact, has
adverse effect on it. Current study has established that beneficial effect of ultrasound on oxidative desulfurization system is
merely of physical nature (i.e. emulsification due to intense micro-mixing) with no involvement of sonochemical effect.

theory was proposed by psychologist David Kolb, who was influenced by the work of
other theorists including John Dewey, Kurt Lewin, and Jean Piaget. According to Kolb,
