Dr. Bartolome Burguera is the Director of Obesity Programs at Cleveland Clinic. He received his medical degree from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in Spain and did fellowships at Mayo Clinic and a residency at Norwalk Hospital. His research and clinical interests involve obesity, and he has published over 100 articles on obesity. As Director of Obesity Programs, he works to integrate medical weight loss initiatives and coordinate an evidence-based lifestyle program for patients and employees focusing on nutrition, physical activity, and appetite control medications.
