This document discusses sexual harassment, abuse, and bullying. It was originally presented at the Montana's Conference on RACE in 2006 by Lorna Stremcha. The document defines workplace bullying as the repeated mistreatment of one employee targeted by one or more employees through humiliation, intimidation, and sabotage. Workplace bullying is a form of psychological harassment and violence that is more prevalent than illegal discrimination. Bullies often display high levels of aggression, lack interpersonal skills, and immaturity. They seek to increase their own confidence by lowering the confidence of their subordinates through demeaning and destructive behavior.
