President Duterte met with families of victims of landslides caused by Typhoon Ompong in Cordillera, Philippines. He provided P45,000 in financial assistance to each family, with P25,000 from the Social Welfare department and P20,000 from the office of the President. The families also received relief goods and burial assistance. The typhoon caused widespread landslides in Cordillera that resulted in 54 deaths and 42 people still missing.
