Frontier Communications partnered with Brightbox to provide secure phone charging stations at 16 collegiate sports venues in 2016 and 2017. This helped Frontier expand their branding presence while engaging students and fans with a valuable amenity. General Manager Larry Thompson said sponsorship is about engaging fans by giving back value rather than just having your brand present. Coca-Cola also used Brightbox charging stations in sponsorship campaigns which allowed them to associate their brand with a desired amenity customers enjoy while leveraging additional branding through Brightbox's interactive platform. Coca-Cola's manager of sports assets said Brightbox stations have been an excellent addition and the company is easy to work with.
