Branding and design service makes your mind related to a product, service, or company – whether, at that specific point, you purchased or didn’t purchase it but it may impose its value into your mind.
This is a presentation on Brand and Branding, written and presented by me recently.
The presentations tells about, what a brand is and how does it differs from other existing competitors. It tells about the difference between branding and marketing.
It covers certain examples of successful brands which have become one by adopting certain marketing strategies.
The presentation also comprises of certain Q & A's which could be helpful in becoming a brand. Though there is no specific method in this world to be able to become a brand.
The questions must be answered and the answers must be evaluated such that one could understand the importance of being a brand.
I strongly believe that becoming a brand is more important than sales and marketing. Sales and marketing are just two constituents of a brand.
In the race of achieving the targets and doing sales, almost all the companies miss upon the things which could have led them to become a brand.
As the inflow of money is faster than becoming a brand, companies usually suffer temporary profits rather permanent brand loyalty of the people they sell their product and solutions to.
I hope it will be useful for a pretty basic level of understanding.

Brand Image is what the customers think/perceive (or form an impression) about a particular brand in their mind. Brand Image can be defined as how existing or potential customers view the brand and associate with it. Every company wants to position its brand in a certain way which it deems is the best way for it to be seen by the customers, that is known as Brand Identity. Brand image is something that eventually forms in the mind of the customer. Brand image may be same as brand identity or may be totally opposite. The ideal scenario is that the brand image should be positive and what the company or the manufacturer wants it to be.

29. Better Brand …. Better Bottom Line
Let’s create you a
better personal and
business brand and a
better bottom line as a
result.
So you can...
30. Why Is Brand Image So Important?
Brand image so important to your personal brand
because…
In 30 seconds your potential client has judged you and
decided whether they like you, whether they trust
you and whether they will do business with you.
31. Why Is Brand Image So Important?
Thirty seconds is a very short time, but you can
manage the impressions your clients, audience or
colleagues make of you and your business in that
time.
32. Why Is Brand Image So Important?
The better your brand image, the better
your bottom line.
It’s that simple.
33. Why Is Brand Image So Important?
Image is defined as how you are perceived by the
public. While branding and brand awareness is what
exists in the hearts and minds of your customers,
employees and suppliers when your business is
considered,
34. Why Is Brand Image So Important?
that is how you are perceived by the public. For our
purposes the terms Brand and Image are literally the
same.
Therefore, throughout this presentation we use the
term image or brand interchangeably. At the end of
the day it is all a matter of how you are perceived.
35. Why Is Brand Image So Important?
Branding is often perceived as spending a lot of
money on logos and advertisements.
This blueprint reveals that personal branding does not
need to be expensive.
36. Why Is Brand Image So Important?
Branding is substantially more about the things you
do then the things you buy.
37. Why Is Your Personal Branding Vital?
Consider these important points ...
Having your personal brand consistent with your
business brand, mission and service standards is
essential.
38. Why Is Your Personal Branding Vital?
Your personal brand affects everything including your:
»» marketability
»» market position
»» market penetration
»» ability to attract and keep clients
39. Why Is Your Personal Branding Vital?
»» the price clients are
willing to pay for your
products and services.
40. Why Is Your Personal Branding Vital?
Within this Blueprint you will learn how to:
»» align your personal brand with client expectations
»» build a professional identity that complements
your brand
»» strengthen your professional effectiveness.
41. Why Is Personal Branding So Important?
You are the message!
You are the product!!
42. Why Is Personal Branding So Important?
Often without the resources of large businesses, small
businesses need to think carefully about what image
they are presenting to their clients.
43. Why Is Personal Branding So Important?
Likewise with busy professionals and executives, it has
become increasingly important to brand yourself
separately to the organisation you work with or for as
tenure decreases and mobility increases.
44. Why Is Personal Branding So Important?
Branding yourself a key player in your chosen industry
becomes paramount for small business and
professionals alike.
45. Why Is Personal Branding So Important?
It is critical to recognize the importance of your
personal, professional and business image in building
a successful personal brand.
A client’s impression of you will determine if they will
do business with you.
46. Why Is Personal Branding So Important?
Without a doubt limited resources can be a major
issue. Fortunately changing your personal brand can
be inexpensive. You can present an incredibly
professional image on a budget.
47. Why Is Personal Branding So Important?
You cannot always control your business image ... but
you can control your business identity.
Public perception and your professional image are the
intangible factors to ongoing success and market
growth.
48. Why Is Personal Branding So Important?
• The best positioning you can have among your
prospects and clients is that of an expert; an
authority in your area of expertise.
49. What Is Brand Image?
Your personal brand is the result of a combination of
impressions held about your name and professional
image.
50. What Is A Personal Brand?
These impressions are derived from factors including :
»» physical appearance such as logo, colors, office,
uniforms or attire and vehicles
»» your business beliefs and values
»» how they are reflected in your performance
»» how you express yourself to your clients, market
and community.
51. What Is A Personal Brand?
For success you must manage your total image.
This broadly comprises of your performance,
presentation, attitude, communication skills and
reputation.
52. What Is A Personal Brand?
These are the vital
areas of ‘image’ from
which we are all
judged.
53. What Is A Personal Brand?
You cannot always control your brand image
completely because image is based on the perceptions
of others such as clients or potential clients, but you
can control your business or brand identity.
54. What Is Your Brand Identity?
Brand identity is basically the look, feel and
performance of the brand. These are within your
control. How people perceive them is not always in
your control.
55. Brand Identity
When planned your brand identity, allows you to tell
your audience what you want to say about yourself
and how you want to be perceived. A good business
identity will visually separate and distinguish a
company and its products and services from all
others.
56. Your Brand Identity Is Important
•They say, “If you look good, your product will be
good, your prices will be good and your client service
will be good.”
57. Your Brand Identity Is Important
In a sense identity is destiny, and by controlling your
identity, you have taken a big step in controlling your
destiny.
Visual impressions are important and part of the
communication process.

Firstly, ask yourself these two important questions:
• Why build my personal brand? [If you had a fantastic
personal brand what would you do, be or have?]

60. Let’s Get Started…
Next Question:
• It is important to me to build a fabulous personal
brand because:
[Transcribe these notes to your Brand Yourself Blueprint Work Journal. ]
61. Consider Questions Seriously…
• Personal Branding Is Purposefully Intentional…
• So, I am leaving you with some issues to carefully
consider; at the heart of these questions is the idea
of being intentional around how we design and build
our personal brand. And starting to create
expectation of its potential and to glimpse your
future.
62. Your Incredible Potential
Often your incredible potential is not recognized
because your outer presentation does not endorse
you.
Take charge of the message you deliver.
63. Your Incredible Potential
How do we achieve this?
We may be an individual, but you have resources that
large businesses do not.
64. Your Incredible Potential
Generally, you:
»» have all the information you need to make a decision.
»» are more agile, responsive and can change direction
promptly.
»» are the human touch.
»» control the message. Your enthusiasm, passion and
commitment will inspire.
»» have the whole business at your fingertips.
65. Your Incredible Potential
It makes sense to focus and invest in areas impacting
on your client’s perception of you and your business.
Altering your business image can be effective in
capturing a greater market, building presence and
ensuring long term business success.
66. Your Incredible Potential
In essence, you can control your bottom line. Because
you control the message!
Take control of your personal brand and start naming
your price.
