This document outlines Boston University's plans to integrate ORCID identifiers into its systems. It discusses opting faculty out versus opting students/trainees in, compromises reached with legal counsel, displaying ORCID on public versus private profiles, updating works from ORCID to profiles, leveraging ORCID for identity and access management, thesis submission, and more.
