You, as their senior network administrator, are tasked with the job of a complete re-design. This design must support a medium to large sized network for over 1,000 devices. Current Friendly Care Hospital Network Design Overview In this project, you will study performance improvements in a congested, wired LAN/WAN environment that can be solved to varying degrees by a new IT infrastructure design and fully functional implementation in Packet Tracer. To learn more about Packet Tracer please read the Cisco Packet Tracer DS PDF. Later, in Phase II of the project, you will scale this design to a larger enterprise IT infrastructure. To begin the projects, you will complete a review of related literature to identify what is appropriate to improve system feasibility, RAS (reliability, availability, serviceability), security, and disaster recovery of the existing IT infrastructure and model of your hospital. Once this review of literature is complete, you will use the outcomes and research results to advance and improve the IT infrastructure. Proper data analysis, comparison, and contrast will be summarized within in-text tables and figures as well as appendixes to explain the results of the IT infrastructure re-design and improvement. Packet Tracer is limited given it is a simulator. Be creative! For instance, if Packet Tracer does not have a file sharing service for a file sharing server, turn on any other related and relevant services that are available. This section will lay out the implementation plan of the entire Authentic Assessment Project (AAP) design, which include configuration of key networking devices, detailing milestones, activities, resources, and budgets, as well as providing a deliverables schedule.
Project Implementation Plan
In this lecture I will discuss implementation plan through an example of an enterprise network.
The figure presents a fictitious enterprise factious network. The company would like to implement a scalable solution with a routing protocol that provides fast convergence. For optimal routing and packet forwarding, hierarchical addressing with summarization is required. Users require high-speed access to the server farm with redundant connectivity for protection. The company has many remote offices; a redundant connection to the Internet is required to provide the remote offices with nonstop access to its server farm. For remote offices, a secure connection must be implemented to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing data.
The first step before creating an implementation plan is to gather existing information about the networks and all the requirements.
The existing topology provides redundant connectivity among all the network devices. Internet connectivity is dual homed, which provides redundant access to the remote sites as well as World Wide Web resources. The equipment can provide all the functionalities that are required, but the software version of the operation system must be upgraded.
The networking equipment has existing IP addressing that needs to be changed to ensure optimal routing and forwarding of packets as well as summarization. Requirements for server farm access and remote office connectivity do not include changes in QoS configuration. The server farm hosts the critical applications of the company including VoIP, and these require preferred treatment. OSPF is configured in the network. This configuration must be changed, because a faster convergence time is required. EIGRP is better choice than OSPF.
Security configuration is required to provide secure access to terminal resources. In this case existing security is sufficient, therefor no changes are needed.

Modern IP networks are complex entities that require constant maintenance and care. Similarly, constructing a new network comes with a high amount of upfront cost, planning, and risk. Unlike the disciplines of software and hardware engineering, networking and IT professionals lack an expressive and useful certification language that they can use to verify that their work is correct. When installing and maintaining networks without a standard for describing their behavior, teams find themselves prone to making configuration mistakes. These mistakes can have real monetary and operational efficiency costs for organizations that maintain large networks.In this research, the Network Certification Description Language (NETCDL) is proposed as an easily human readable and writeable language that is used to describe network components and their desired behavior. The complexity of the grammar is shown to rank in the top 5 out of 31 traditional computer language grammars, as measured by metrics suite. “We Make Windows”, Inc. (referred to as “WMW”) has hired you as an IT consultant for implementing their Windows network infrastructure. WMW is a new advertising firm, and they are currently hiring staff, establishing two locations, and have a need to get their internal IT services configured. They do not yet have an IT staff, but when they do, the IT staff will take over all aspects of IT administration. You are required to supply WMW with a solution which describes the implementation and configuration of their core IT services. Cost is not a significant concern – WMW wishes to implement the “right” solution to fit their needs now and for the next 2-3 years.
There are several details about WMW which will have an impact on your choices:

· Networking equipment is already in place for both sites. A secure tunnel (using IPSec) will be established between the two sites so that inter-site traffic will be securely tunneled over the Internet. You may make whatever other assumptions you wish about intra-and inter-site connectivity. Please be sure to state these assumptions.
· Security mechanisms (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection) will be handled separately, and there is no need to describe them.
· Some departments will want their data to remain private from other departments (e.g., Finances personnel will not want Production staff to see the company’s financial details). You may make assumptions about how data should be shared or kept private, but they must be stated in your paper.

Modern IP networks are complex entities that require constant maintenance and care. Similarly, constructing a new network comes with a high amount of upfront cost, planning, and risk. Unlike the disciplines of software and hardware engineering, networking and IT professionals lack an expressive and useful certification language that they can use to verify that their work is correct. When installing and maintaining networks without a standard for describing their behavior, teams find themselves prone to making configuration mistakes. These mistakes can have real monetary and operational efficiency costs for organizations that maintain large networks.In this research, the Network Certification Description Language (NETCDL) is proposed as an easily human readable and writeable language that is used to describe network components and their desired behavior. Kiser, Chapter 6: Communicating in Your Internship, describes the clientele who access HUS settings and successful communication skills for HUS practitioners. Throughout your HUS courses, you have been exposed to theoretical perspectives regarding individuals, groups, families, and agencies, and reviewed counseling, mental health, aging, multiculturalism, case management, and social policy. Now the time has come to apply your knowledge directly with human beings. As you have progressed through your internship and have reached the halfway mark, you have had opportunities to not only interact with clients but to observe situations in which you have been challenged to remain neutral and communicate effectively.
For your initial post:
1. Describe your client population. Cite Kiser Chapter 6 material to explain some of the characteristics of this group and some of the challenges a HUS professional might encounter.
2. Discuss what you have learned in your HUS coursework that has helped you to understand and work with this clientele. Specifically name the course and information. For example: Family Systems and Dynamics helped me to understand that the whole family plays a part in the problem that the client presents. Ethics taught me that the professional role has clear boundaries and that I must be aware of those boundaries to help my clients without violating ethical standards. Group Dynamics taught me that conflict and power may make it hard to serve my client population. Please refer to the courses you have taken.
3. Discuss at least 2 areas that have been more difficult as you work with the clientele.
4. Discuss your understanding of what roadblocks have been presented for you to overcome, for example, personal beliefs and values regarding conflict, anger, addiction, poverty, incarceration, aging, gender, culture, religion. It is important to be honest and own that although being objective is an ideal, as human beings, our own biases and beliefs will be brought into sharp relief as we deal directly with others who are facing challenges in their lives.

PEER 1
Ransomware works via finding its way onto a host computer, it's a kind of malware so it's like when your computer gets sick and slows it down but instead it locks out all your stuff. Usually what they ask for in return for control of your files is money, but sometimes they will ask for other important things. The FBI doesn't condone giving the attackers what they want because it's more than likely that they'll just take the money and keep your stuff locked, they'll possibly even ask for more. That's why they stress how important it is that if this happens to you then you should go to them for help. If your in a company then you ask your IT department.
The software goes through this encryption phase where it starts encrypting all the files on your computer until it's all locked and you can tell if something is encrypted usually because the file will have an extension added onto it. Such as .aaa , .micro , .encrypted , .ttt , .xyz , .zzz , .locky , .crypt , .cryptolocker , .vault , or .petya. These extensions are an indication that a file has been partially or fully encrypted. What's recommended is that as soon as you find out that your files are being locked, you disconnect from all wireless connections and other computing devices, because this virus can and will spread to cause even more havoc. It can spread across your network and ruin other computers on said network.
Ransomware is normally delivered by drive-by downloads or email phishing. Drive-by downloads are a fancy way of saying a download that you pick up while browsing a site and it runs in the background. Email phishing is one of the reasons you don't click on links from emails from anyone, even from trusted sources. If you know who the email is coming from your best bet is to get with them personally to make sure that it's a valid email and that it's not an attacker. If a ransom is paid though, the attack may give you an encryption key to unlock your files, if your lucky enough. Why take a chance though, you should always take the smart path and make sure that you contact the proper authorities if you come across anything like this in your time. Also make sure to back up your computer files, it may sound obvious enough to want to put it off and procrastinate this, but the longer you wait the more at risk you are.

In cross-cultural psychology research, a broad range of techniques is utilized to determine the best way to access critical data. Each technique has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, laboratory experiments may offer great control and ability to examine issues of cause and effect, but may not always reflect actual real-world conditions, especially in cross cultural situations. As an additional example, long term field work and interviews conducted by living in a given cultural setting for a year or two, may offer the possibility of many nuanced observations, yet such qualitative work will not lead to statistical or experimental designs. Each method tends to have pros and cons, rather than one method being the "right" one for every situation. This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the

- 1. BMIS 520 IT Infrastructure Project: Designing LAN Networks Assignment Instructions All labs must be submitted using the version of Packet Tracer in the online course/learning management system. Please do NOT use other versions of Packet Tracer to assure licensing compliance and proper assessment/credit. In addition, please do NOT add users or passwords to any device, leave all credentials blank for assessment purposes. Project Background Please reference Figure 1. Friendly Care Hospital is one of the biggest hospitals in DC. You have recently bought the hospital, naming it [Your Firstname Lastname] Hospital. For example, Jane Doe Hospital. Jane Doe Hospital owns a 5-story building and houses many departments that span multiple floors. Its Radiology department is spread across the first and second floors, connected by a dedicated local area network (LAN). The department has recently deployed a new “Radiology Images” application as part of their initiative to digitize patient records. However, the department staff sometimes faces long application delays during busy hours. It also experiences regular delays in Internet connectivity, FTPS services, web services, and email services. Their original design, depicted in Figure 1, was categorized as a small network, providing services for up to 200-500 devices. They have well surpassed this. You, as their senior network administrator, are tasked with the job of a complete re-design. This design must support a medium to large sized network for over 1,000 devices. Overview In this project, you will study performance improvements in a congested, wired LAN/WAN environment that can be solved to varying degrees by a new IT infrastructure design and fully functional implementation in Packet Tracer. To learn more about Packet Tracer please read the Cisco Packet Tracer DS PDF. Later, in Phase II of the project, you will scale this design to a larger enterprise IT infrastructure. To begin the projects, you will complete a review of related literature to identify what is appropriate to improve system feasibility, RAS (reliability, availability, serviceability), security, and disaster recovery of the existing IT infrastructure and model of your hospital. Once this review of literature is complete, you will use the outcomes and research results to advance and improve the IT infrastructure. Proper data analysis, comparison, and contrast will be summarized within in-text tables and figures as well as appendixes to explain the results of the IT infrastructure re-design and improvement. Packet Tracer is limited given it is a simulator. Be creative! For instance, if Packet Tracer does not have a file sharing service for a file sharing server, turn on any other related and relevant services that are available. As another example, use LAN and WAN protocols that are optimal given what the version of Packet Tracer allows. You will be assessed based upon optimal configurations in the version of Packet Tracer used. Thus, assure this is well studied. Research will outline new opportunities for future IT infrastructure designs, and this should be discussed accordingly in the written paper even if not configured in Packet Tracer. Often, new technologies are not implemented in industry immediately due to limitations such as hardware architecture. Please verify all requirements are met by reviewing the grading rubric. Below is an outline of minimum requirements with examples and ideas. Instructions

Minimum Project Requirements · Submit a working Packet Tracer lab, typically this file has a .pkt file extension. · This will include the fully operational new IT infrastructure design · All devices in the lab must be named with your first name and last name · Example: Jane_Doe_Router_1 · All hardware and software should be configured properly and should be able to communicate using optimized networking designs, configurations, and protocols · No devices should have passwords for assessment purposes · Minimum IT Infrastructure Design and Packet Tracer Requirements · You must start with a blank/new Packet Tracer file, existing labs or modified labs of existing solutions will receive a zero without exception · Design a medium-size hospital IT infrastructure for well over 1,000 devices, and scalable beyond the Figure 1 example · For example, a design that goes beyond traditional N-Tier designs · Design proper addressing via IPv4 and/or IPv6 that scales · Add appropriate routers and switches to support this new design · Configure at least one appropriate networking protocol, operational across the entire infrastructure · Use proper network address translation (NAT) · Implement private and public IP address spaces correctly · Assure network traffic is organized, efficient, and secured properly (e.g. limit broadcast domains, do not allow marketing employees to access accounting systems, etc) · Add an Internet Service Provider (ISP) into the design · Add enough modularity, resiliency, and flexibility into the design · Design and implement the following new services and servers · A Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server that
