TYPING Lab
Objectives
The
objectives
are
to
learn
how
to
blood
type,and
to
find

the
correct
donor
for
a
patient.

Materials
    Four Blood Samples
    Anti-A Serum
    Anti-B Serum
    Anti-Rh Serum
    4 Disposable Micropipettes
    4 Blood Typing Slides
    12 Mixing Sticks
    Biohazard Container

Method
   Fist grab a micropipette and fill it with blood sample 1 and
  deposit the sample in each of the three wells of blood typing
slide 1. Add a drop of the Anti-A Serum to the well marked “A”,
  now add a drop of Anti-B Serum in the well marked “B”, then
   add a drop of Anti-Rh Serum to the well marked “Rh”. Now
  proceed to set the timer for 30 seconds, once the timer goes
off record the observations. Repeat this process for sample 2, 3,
                         and sample 4.

Conclusion
   1. What are some of the disadvantages in running a virtual
      lab versus a “real” lab?
It helps you be more clean and you can retry it and go back and
check on what you did.
   2. How was collaborating for the lab write up easier? More
      difficult?
Well we really didn’t collaborate but when we do its much
easier because we help each other.
   3. How would you improve this lab?
I think he lab is fine how it is.
