This study investigates the protective effects of linalool against nephrotoxicity induced by the anticancer drug cisplatin in male Wistar rats. Linalool was found to improve kidney function, mitigate oxidative and inflammatory damage, and regulate apoptotic markers associated with cisplatin treatment. The underlying mechanisms involve modulation of pathways related to oxidative stress and inflammation, suggesting linalool's potential as a protective agent in cisplatin-induced kidney damage.
