Curriculum Vitae.
Objective With 22 years rich experience in Carpet
manufacturing operation, I wish to take up tougher
responsibilities and to explore into the new lines of
management, which leads to better career
improvement and self efficiency development, thereby
contributing more to the organization served.
Experience 4 years - Joined as Shipping Assistant with M/s
Travancore Mats and Matting Co. (established in
1917), in the year 1992 and subsequently promoted
as Asst.Manager exports.
4 years - Promoted and Transferred to M/s
Travancore Wools and Weaves P.Ltd a German
Collaborated Unit as Manager, in the year 1996.
Given additional charge of one more factory during
1999 to 2000.
5 years - Promoted and Transferred to M/s Extra
Weave as Senior Manager, in the year 2000.

2. 3 years - Promoted as Assistant General Manager
(Production) in the year 2005.
6 years - Since 2008 October, working with Al-
Sorayai Group. Saudi Arabia as Plant Manager-
Weaving
Job Profile While in TMMC the responsibility was to deal with the
production, dispatch departments and the shipping
lines and follow up the shipments. Concentrated in
cost reduction by better utilization of container spaces
and rate negotiations with shipping lines.
I was the total project in charge for Ms TWW(P)Ltd
( 100% EOU ) situated in Tamilnadu from its birth
stage. All statutory matters, factory layout planning,
civil construction, machinery imports, machinery
erection, trail run and commercial production were
done in my supervision. Looked after the unit until
2000. Woolen carpets were produced in this unit. All
functions like Stores, Purchase, HR, Production,
Export etc were carried out with very limited staff
strength. There were around 130workers in this
factory.
In the year 1999 I have been given additional charge
of one branch unit of M/s TMMC in Tamilnadu. As a
total in-charge of this unit, I have carried out all
managerial functions like purchase, stores,
production, personnel, dispatch and other statutory
matters.
In the year 2000 a new project has started in the
name of Extra Weave and I have been transferred
back to Kerela with a promotion as Sr.Manager to
look after this project. In this project also, my
responsibility started from the ground and to build up
the complete project of budget 50crores. All the
machinery was imported from Germany and Italy.
Learnt all basic techniques by assisting the European
technicians. The unit consists of several super
sophisticated looms with computer controlled weaving
techniques, Latex backing machine, Highly
sophisticated state of the art dyeing plant, finishing
equipments etc. The size of the factory building is

3. 200,000 Sq.ft and is constructed in 12acres of land.
Technology meets the tradition in this factory and is
first in its kind in India. Under me there were 4
managerial staffs, 8 office staffs and 200 workers.
In the year 2005 I have been promoted as
Asst.General Manager(Production).
In 2008 I joined with Al-Sorayai group as Asst.Plant
Manager- weaving operation and in 2011 promoted
as Plant Manager and became the Head of Weaving
Operation
Professional On all the above projects, the span of
Achievements responsibility was vide and could able to function on
all areas like stores, purchase, planning, production,
HR, export, documentation etc. Likewise could earn
knowledge in statutory matters like Sales Tax, Central
Excise, Inspectorate of factories and boilers, Pollution
Control Board etc.
While working with TWW(P)Ltd, I designed one
machine called lapping machine to make small layers
of wool fiber to have a better finish for the product.
At TMMC, I received an appreciation letter from
GM(Operations) for good performance.
At Extra weave, it is a better achievement to grab
knowledge on all sophisticated equipments like
electronic jacquard looms, American made latex
backing machine and Italian made dyeing
equipments. Many of the visitors appreciated for the
team achievement. Could able to correct lots of
logical errors on the looms.
Developed new products and structures.
Now working as Plant Manager with Al-Sorayai
Group, KSA who are the 14th
biggest carpet
manufacturer in the world.
Implemented 5S system in the operation on my own.
Also basics of lean management, Khaizen, Quality
circle activities were initiated by my own.

4. Received ‘Best Plant’ award in the year 2013.

business development.
Attended ITMA fare at Singapore.
Travelled to Belgium for a Machinery Auction.
Travelled to Spain for business purpose.
Traveled many places in India for Business purpose.
