Nicotine synthesis occurs in the roots but is stored in the leaf. Effects of nicotine include increased blood pressure from smoking and relaxation of muscles. Addiction to alcohol is called alcoholism, which can affect people in all sections of society. Drinking alcohol in low concentrations like beer and wine is relatively safer than in high concentrations like brandy, whiskey, and vodka.
