Bhakti Sastri Course is divided into 5 core modules as above. Bhakti Sastri degree will be issued
to students who complete all five modules of the Bhakti Sastri program. You can take up the
course unit wise as per your convenience.
Course Objectives
• Memorize and recall the essential knowledge of the bhakti-sastras - important verses, facts,
concepts, analogies, philosophical points etc. according to: i) their location within scripture
ii) their relevance to specific subjects or themes
At the end of the course the students should be able to…
Knowledge
• Deepen their understanding of the theology of the bhakti-sastras,
• Explain the content of scripture in their own words, relate contents of scripture to their own
experience,
• Relate and compare between the various books, chapters, etc., key concepts, philosophical
points, slokas, stories, analogies, etc.
• Analyze/explain/resolve apparent contradictions
• Present answers logically and systematically

application • Personally apply the teachings of the bhakti-sastras in their lives.

  • 4. Bhakti Sastri is a rigorous study of Bhagavad Gita As-it-is, Nectar of Instruction, Nectar of Devotion and Sri Isopanishad.

BG Unit - 2 BG Unit - 1 BG Unit - 3 NOD Unit - 4 NOI & Isopanisad Unit - 5 Unit 1: Bhagavad Gita Chapters 1-6 Karma Yoga Unit 2: Bhagavad Gita Chapters 7-12 Bhakti-yoga Unit 3: Bhagavad Gita Chapters 13-18 Transcendental Knowledge Unit 4: The Nectar of Devotion Unit 5: The Nectar of Instruction & Sri Isopanisad Bhakti Sastri Course is divided into 5 core modules as above. Bhakti Sastri degree will be issued to students who complete all five modules of the Bhakti Sastri program. You can take up the course unit wise as per your convenience.

Course Objectives • Memorize and recall the essential knowledge of the bhakti-sastras - important verses, facts, concepts, analogies, philosophical points etc. according to: i) their location within scripture ii) their relevance to specific subjects or themes At the end of the course the students should be able to… Knowledge • Deepen their understanding of the theology of the bhakti-sastras, • Explain the content of scripture in their own words, relate contents of scripture to their own experience, • Relate and compare between the various books, chapters, etc., key concepts, philosophical points, slokas, stories, analogies, etc. • Analyze/explain/resolve apparent contradictions • Present answers logically and systematically Understanding Knowledge
