Indian institute of science (IISC) was established in bengaluru, in
the state of karnataka, as a public, deemed, research university
in science, engineering, architecture and management.Jamsetji
Tata actively assisted in the establishment of the institute in
1909, earning it the local moniker "Tata Institute." It is one of
India's most esteemed academic institutions and has the
greatest faculty citation rate of any university in the entire world.
In 1958, it received designation as a deemed university, and in
