● Capture the zeitgeist with every announcement. Use current events and
emotions to do so. Stay away from politics, but make your message
controversial.
● You can only build a movement as a platform company. Watch out for
being too vertical.
● A movement requires (often one, very successful) distribution strategy.
Pick carefully! Ideally, it should be organic, scaleable and profitable.
● Ensure your team is part of the movement. The early team should be lean,
technical and missionary, even as you scale. Watch out for mercenaries.
