This document describes a process called BeHealth.Today that is intended to help generate new ideas for behavioral health proposals. It involves education, workshops, and presenting proposals to the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency. The workshops teach design thinking as a process for solving problems, which involves empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, testing, and sharing. Participants work in groups to develop ideas addressing behavioral health issues and learn how to present their proposals to potential funders. Advanced registration is encouraged for the workshops to gain skills and insights that can help improve behavioral health.

Using the Product Wall Release Workshop – Alignment From Vision to Sprint Bac...BigVisible Higdon
Multi-team Release Planning, as it is often executed, fails to bring alignment beyond one-time inter-team coordination. When the “Chief Product Owner” arrives with just descriptions of features, the teams don’t learnt the connection between features and value. This hands-on session provides a hypothetical Product Wall Release Workshop. The Product Wall Release Workshop brings together all the elements of business needs, user experience, value proposition, dependency resolution, risk mitigation and user story planning. By combining various Agile collaboration techniques in a guided sequence, your multi-team Release Planning can create alignment by learning together and building together a clear path to success, from the release vision all the way to Sprint Backlogs.

Facilitator Introduction: Good afternoon, everyone, my name is (First Last) and I am a (title) at The Idea Guy.
Team introduction: I’d like to introduce the other members of my team that are supporting your workshop today.
First Last, Title

If you have any questions, or if you need something during the workshop please raise your hand to let one of us know.
The Idea Guy helps people solve problems using Design Thinking and other creative problem solving tools.
Idea Lab can help – its what we do.
Throughout this workshop, you will be working to solve your partners problem. You will interview them about their thoughts, and their problem may change, but you are still responsible for helping them find a solution.
You will generate ideas that will solve their problem. They will give you feedback on your ideas and then you will create a prototype that solves their problem.
In return, they will do the same for you.
Any questions?
This is what people have said it is:
Design Thinking refers to design-specific cognitive activities that designers apply during the process of designing.
Game inspired by my colleague, Karen Tilstra FHIL
On each table is a collection of colored cords that represent different aspects of positive collaboration.
Green = Creativity
Red = Suspend Negative judgment
Blue = Ask penetrating questions
Yellow = Practice precise observation
Please select one or more bands now.
After selection is completed, ask each person to address the band they selected and why.

This is what I think Design Thinking looks like.
It has 6-steps, and not all are equal. Their color is indicative of their purpose. It’s human-centered, which means its organic and fluid – things about it will change.
Everything revolves around the Problem Statement – its at the center of what we are about to do.
Empathy –
Developing an emotional understanding of the people involved in the problem.
Define is where you confirm that you’re working on the right problem.
Ideate is where you generated a large number of ideas, collected feedback and selected the best idea for moving forward.
You developed a prototype to represent your concept.
And tested your concept by collecting feedback from your partner.
You shared your concept with others to get more feedback from users and other people working on the same problem.
