This made Ancient Olympia the first destination in Greece and worldwide to offer free lodging to all. The contest website provides information about Olympia and generates publicity to increase visitors and revenue for the region. In the first 60 days, the website saw over 2,000 fans and visitors from 51 countries, achieving the goals of branding Olympia as a destination and revitalizing local tourism.
