Former basketball coach Beckie Francis advocated for the passage of Erin's Law in Michigan, which requires teachers to undergo training to recognize signs of sexual abuse and for students to take classes on safe/unsafe touches and how to report abuse. The law is named for Erin Merryn, who wrote a memoir about her experiences with rape and incest as a child and became an activist for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Since being passed in Illinois in 2010, Erin's Law has been adopted by 11 other states and introduced in 25 state legislatures.

Tiffany Lynne Jordan-Johnson is on the TBI Top Ten Most Wanted list for 7 felony counts of illegal payments in connection with child placement, 6 counts of theft, 2 counts of forgery, and 1 count of attempted forgery. Between November 2012 and March 2013, Jordan-Johnson, who was pregnant at the time, convinced seven different potential adoptive families or agencies that she wanted to put her newborn up for adoption, receiving funds for living expenses. However, Jordan-Johnson was actually living in subsidized housing and did not intend to follow through with any adoptions. She gave birth to her seventh child in April 2013. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to her arrest.

This document summarizes a research article that examines teenage girls' expectations of pleasure during sex and their sense of sexual self-efficacy, which reflects their sexual subjectivity. It finds that girls from less privileged social and economic backgrounds report lower expectations than their more privileged peers. Dr. Kritsonis has served in professorial roles at Central Washington University, Washington; Salisbury State University, Maryland; Northwestern State University, Louisiana; McNeese State University, Louisiana; and Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge in the Department of Administrative and Foundational Services.
In 2006, Dr. Kritsonis published two articles in the Two-Volume Set of the Encyclopedia of Educational Leadership and Administration published by SAGE Publications, Thousand Oaks, California. He is a National Reviewer for the Journal of Research on Leadership, University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA).
In 2007, Dr. Kritsonis was invited to write a history and philosophy of education for the ABC-CLIO Encyclopedia of World History.
Currently, Dr. Kritsonis is Professor of Educational Leadership at Prairie View A&M University – Member of the Texas A&M University System. He teaches in the PhD Program in Educational Leadership. Dr. Kritsonis taught the Inaugural class session in the doctoral program at the start of the fall 2004 academic year. In October 2006, Dr. Kritsonis chaired the first doctoral student to earn a PhD in Educational Leadership at Prairie View A&M University. He has chaired over 18 doctoral dissertations. The camps are offered at no cost to support victims of abuse.

Beckie Francis has used her experience as a women's basketball coach to advocate for victims of sexual abuse. As a survivor herself, she publicly shared her story in 2012 and received an award for her courage. Lifting the Corporate Veil. Power Point Presentation
"Lifting the Corporate Veil" is a legal concept that refers to the judicial act of disregarding the separate legal personality of a corporation or limited liability company (LLC). Normally, a corporation is considered a legal entity separate from its shareholders or members, meaning that the personal assets of shareholders or members are protected from the liabilities of the corporation. However, there are certain situations where courts may decide to "pierce" or "lift" the corporate veil, holding shareholders or members personally liable for the debts or actions of the corporation.
Here are some common scenarios in which courts might lift the corporate veil:
Fraud or Illegality: If shareholders or members use the corporate structure to perpetrate fraud, evade legal obligations, or engage in illegal activities, courts may disregard the corporate entity and hold those individuals personally liable.
Undercapitalization: If a corporation is formed with insufficient capital to conduct its intended business and meet its foreseeable liabilities, and this lack of capitalization results in harm to creditors or other parties, courts may lift the corporate veil to hold shareholders or members liable.
Failure to Observe Corporate Formalities: Corporations and LLCs are required to observe certain formalities, such as holding regular meetings, maintaining separate financial records, and avoiding commingling of personal and corporate assets. If these formalities are not observed and the corporate structure is used as a mere façade, courts may disregard the corporate entity.
Alter Ego: If there is such a unity of interest and ownership between the corporation and its shareholders or members that the separate personalities of the corporation and the individuals no longer exist, courts may treat the corporation as the alter ego of its owners and hold them personally liable.
Group Enterprises: In some cases, where multiple corporations are closely related or form part of a single economic unit, courts may pierce the corporate veil to achieve equity, particularly if one corporation's actions harm creditors or other stakeholders and the corporate structure is being used to shield culpable parties from liability.

- 2. A former women's basketball coach at Oakland University in Michigan, Beckie Francis has invested in youth both on and off the court. A voice for survivors of child abuse, Beckie Francis played an important role in passing Erin's Law in Michigan.
- 3. Named after childhood sexual assault survivor Erin Merryn, Erin's Law seeks to provide recourse to the millions of survivors of childhood sexual abuse in America. By the time they reach 18 years old, one out of four girls and one out of six boys are sexually abused in the United States. Merryn's experiences with rape and incest inspired her to write Stolen Innocence: Triumphing over a Childhood Broken by Abuse: A Memoir, which was published in 2005 when she was a senior in high school. The impact of the book led to her become an activist and promote the passage of Erin's Law.
- 4. This law requires that with every renewal of a standard teaching certificate applicants undergo professional development training that teaches them to notice signs of sexual abuse and assault. Moreover, pupils must take sexual abuse and assault awareness classes that teach them about safe/unsafe touches and how to report these crimes. Since first being passed in Illinois in 2010, Erin's Law has been adopted by 11 additional states, and 25 state legislatures have introduced it for debate.
