Museum Box provides tools to create a virtual box containing various media like pictures, videos, music or text. Users can view boxes created by others or create their own to describe a person, time period or event. Creating an account allows users to save their boxes and add their own content. Museum Box is free to use and allows adding pictures, videos, sounds and text to cubes within a box to showcase events, periods of history or influential people.

Museum Box provides the tools to create a virtual box of items and media. The box can
contain pictures, videos, music or text. Boxes can be created to describe a specific
person, time period or event. You are also able to view museum boxes created by
others and comment on them.
You must register in order to save your museum box and add your own images and text.
It is free to register and use museum box; simply choose a user name and password.

At the bottom of the screen, you will see the icons that you can click to add various
forms of media to your box.
Each brown square represents a cube inside your box. Click on a brown square to start
building your box. You can make as many cubes as you want inside the box-­‐
have to create all 8 that are available. This is what it looks like when you click a brown
square. You can add media to all 6 sides of the cube by clicking the icons at the bottom.

7. Museum Box is a great way to teach about specific events or periods in history and
influential people in history. Students can research events or people and show the
results of their research in a Museum Box! Museum Box can be used to study World
Wars, the Gulf War, the Holocaust, the Great Depression, or influential people such as
present and past Presidents of the United States. It can also be used in the study of
biographies.
