Baseline Sampling Aid & Logistics Ltd. is a
field development and support agency. Based in
Kano. The company is concerned with the
conduct of research and development
programmes for clients in providing reliable and
hard statistics.
The Company works more in the Northern part of
the country through its field network of 200 work-
force /contacts spread in the three geographical
zones in the nineteen states. Baseline also works
with a number of associates in the Southern part
of the country and in Niger Republic.
Baseline maintains a formidable team comprising professionally trained
interviewers, supervisors and trainers whose work is supported by
experienced ancillary personnel. Our competent field interviewers,
supervisors, moderators, translators, transcribers, quality controllers and
valuators are individuals with proven professional and academic
qualifications in social and applied sciences.

MOHAMMED BELLO WAKILI
PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR
A Business Administrator from a reputable institution,
Member of IPMA – UK. Wakili is a research veteran and a
specialist in overall co-ordination of quantitative and
qualitative studies, from interviews with general public, team
leading, supervisions, staff training, quality control and
regional co-ordinating (Northwest) with Practical Sampling
International (PSI).
Wakili, has been controlling a pool of field team across the
north who are dedicated to collecting(close to accurate) data
on various types of research projects including surveys,
FGDs, IDIs,(organisations & moderation), mystery shopping,
usage and attitude, media evaluation and price sensitivities
for a period of 15 years now.
Prior to joining BASELINE, he is a Regional
Coordinator(Northwest), in charge of research (fieldwork) for
Practical Sampling International, a research agency based in
Lagos. Where he handled & executed (from field
development to project completion) project like,
Afrobarometer, Project Equip etc

MSHELIA SULIEMAN – PROJECT COORDINATOR/ CLIENT SERVICES
Mshelia has Master’s Degree in Finance and another in Management Information
Technology, competency in critical thinking & problem solving, planning and organizing,
performance focus, managing change, teamwork, communication skills and derive for
success. And over a decade and half as interviewer/data collector, team leader/supervisor,
QC/M&E officer, coordinator, moderator and consultant of various quantitative and
Qualitative projects, with vast experience acquired through Contract/Ad Hoc Jobs in Research
(Conducting and Coordinating Studies, in nature of Focus Group Discussions, Extended Depth Interviews,
Individual Depth Interviews/ Surveys .i.e. face to face interviews, gang surveys, etc.) within the
Fast Moving Consumer Goods, telecommunications, Health, Social, Attitudinal, Behavioral for
private, individuals, profit and non-profit, government and non-governmental organizations.
He over time handled project for many firms in and outside the shores of Nigeria which include African Radio
Drama Association. A development communication organization inaugurated after assessing the
development communication needs of the continent at a symposium of African radio experts in Harare,
Zimbabwe in November 1994.

Sani Suleiman, prior to joining Baseline Sampling Aid and Logistics Limited as
Research Consultant, he worked as an Admin and Logistics Officer in charge of
procurement and logistics for Dangote Foundation Intervention in Kano and
many other states in Nigeria.
He also worked as an Outreach Coordinator and State M&E Officer of
Dangote Foundation on Humanitarian projects in the North East and Women
Empowerment projects in Northern Nigeria. He was also a prominent member of the
evaluations team and also the Research Coordinator with Fortis Campbell; an agency
with expertise on Analytics, M&E, and general consultancy services. Amongst its clients
are; UNFPA, Savannah Conservations, Ford Foundation and many states Government
In the North East with interventions assisted by the World Bank.
An accountant by profession with many years of research experience, he has also gained experience in the area
of Finance, Accounting and Audit, Social and Community Development.
He also has adequate M & E Skills having trained on Results-Based M & E by the International Institute for
Local Development (IILD), Cape Town, South Africa.
HUMAN RESOURCE
Suleiman has worked in all parts of the northern part of Nigeria and have supported in
conducting baseline surveys, pilot mini studies on Displaced People, monitored projects
through to the end.
He has excellent communication and interpersonal and listening skills and also proficient in
the use of computer and very conversant with the use of MS word, power point; excel, SPSS
and some accounting packages, QuickBooks, Tally etc.
He is a resource person to most agencies who desire to work in the North East due to his
experience and ability to adapt to stress conditions in difficult terrains and in conflict zones
within the northern part of Nigeria.

MAL RILWANU SALMAN esq. - LEGAL ADVISER/ COMPANY SECRETARY
Mal. Rilwanu esq, is a legal practitioner, currently serving with A.M. Ma'aji & Partners in Kano. He has
been practicing law for a period of 10 years now.
Mal. Rilwanu esq is also BASELINE SAMPLING AID & LOGISTICS legal adviser and the company
secretary.
MR PHILLIP DAMEH - DATA MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
Mr. Dameh is a serving registrar with National Teachers Institute in Kaduna. Prior to becoming an
employee with NTI, he has worked with several research agencies as a freelancer. He also provide
consultancy in data management to Baseline Sampling Aid & Logistics.
 Baseline Sampling Aid and Logistics Ltd. is set up to specifically carry out
market/marketing research, opinion poll and social, academic, health and
media survey.

  • 2. WHAT WE ARE… Baseline Sampling Aid & Logistics Ltd. is a field development and support agency. Based in Kano. The company is concerned with the conduct of research and development programmes for clients in providing reliable and hard statistics. The Company works more in the Northern part of the country through its field network of 200 work- force /contacts spread in the three geographical zones in the nineteen states. Baseline also works with a number of associates in the Southern part of the country and in Niger Republic.

  • 18. HUMAN RESOURCE MOHAMMED BELLO WAKILI PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR A Business Administrator from a reputable institution, Member of IPMA – UK. Wakili is a research veteran and a specialist in overall co-ordination of quantitative and qualitative studies, from interviews with general public, team leading, supervisions, staff training, quality control and regional co-ordinating (Northwest) with Practical Sampling International (PSI). Wakili, has been controlling a pool of field team across the north who are dedicated to collecting(close to accurate) data on various types of research projects including surveys, FGDs, IDIs,(organisations & moderation), mystery shopping, usage and attitude, media evaluation and price sensitivities for a period of 15 years now. Prior to joining BASELINE, he is a Regional Coordinator(Northwest), in charge of research (fieldwork) for Practical Sampling International, a research agency based in Lagos. SANI SULIEMAN - RESEARCH CONSULTANT Sani Suleiman, prior to joining Baseline Sampling Aid and Logistics Limited as Research Consultant, he worked as an Admin and Logistics Officer in charge of procurement and logistics for Dangote Foundation Intervention in Kano and many other states in Nigeria. He also worked as an Outreach Coordinator and State M&E Officer of Dangote Foundation on Humanitarian projects in the North East and Women Empowerment projects in Northern Nigeria. He was also a prominent member of the evaluations team and also the Research Coordinator with Fortis Campbell; an agency with expertise on Analytics, M&E, and general consultancy services. Amongst its clients are; UNFPA, Savannah Conservations, Ford Foundation and many states Government In the North East with interventions assisted by the World Bank. An accountant by profession with many years of research experience, he has also gained experience in the area of Finance, Accounting and Audit, Social and Community Development. He also has adequate M & E Skills having trained on Results-Based M & E by the International Institute for Local Development (IILD), Cape Town, South Africa.

HUMAN RESOURCE Suleiman has worked in all parts of the northern part of Nigeria and have supported in conducting baseline surveys, pilot mini studies on Displaced People, monitored projects through to the end. He has excellent communication and interpersonal and listening skills and also proficient in the use of computer and very conversant with the use of MS word, power point; excel, SPSS and some accounting packages, QuickBooks, Tally etc. He is a resource person to most agencies who desire to work in the North East due to his experience and ability to adapt to stress conditions in difficult terrains and in conflict zones within the northern part of Nigeria.
