The School Age Child Is Kept On The Heart Of A Child
The Young Child is constantly withheld from many of his desires by physical restrictions. We use
baby gates, fences, locks on doors and cabinets (restricted areas), cribs, playpens, leashes, and brief
commands ( NO! YES! ). We carefully watch the young child; monitoring what he sees, where he
goes, and with whom he associates. These barriers are primarily for the purpose of protecting the child
from himself from his own desire to seek his own will prior to an age when he has knowledge, self
discipline, a fear of the Lord, or help from the Holy Spirit to resist that which is harmful to him. The
School Age Child is still in bondage under the elements of the world. Gal. 4:3 Foolishness is bound in
the heart of a child. Prov. 22:15a Having foolishness in his heart, he is likely to act the part of a fool a
fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself. Prov. 18:2 He constantly
desires to venture into the department store of the flesh. Nothing is more dangerous than allowing a
child to discover himself at this age. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked:
who can know it? Jer. 17:9 Being at the beginning of his formal training in self discipline, he is
relatively helpless at controlling his own desires; and the fleshly nature is thought to be a fascinating
friend rather than seen to contain no good thing. Rom. 7:18 As a parent, you must protect him from his
own worst enemy his flesh, and two other predatory

Fine Dining Restaurants Decline in Sales
Fine Dining Decline in Sales
Fine dining restaurants are full service restaurants with an upscale menu and extensive beverage
offerings. The restaurants generally have a more sophisticated décor and ambiance, the wait staff is
usually highly trained and often wars more formal attire, and there is often a dress code for patrons
(Trends in Fine Dining). Economic downturn caused high end restaurants decline in sales and even
going out of businesses. During the recession period, restaurant operators are facing challenge of food
price inflation and consumer s preference change. Consumers want less tradition, relaxed and less
expensive restaurants. Fine dining become unaffordable to most people during the downturn. Also,
food price inflation are tighten their budget and operators are trying to balance the cost while
generating profit. On the other hand, income stay leveled and did not competing with inflation.
Consumers still want good food and services but they are seeking for place they feel connected,
comfortable, quick services and affordable price. Fine dining restaurants become a luxury and not
affordable to some consumers; operators are facing challenges to attract and retain their consumers.
The economic downturn started in 2008 to 2009, according to Hudson Riehle, an economist for the
National Restaurant Association, this is the most challenging period for restaurant operators since
1991. In a recent NRA survey, 53% of restaurant owners cited either the faltering

The Temperature Dependence Of Magnetization M ( T )
Next, the temperature dependence of magnetization M(T) curves of Mn3Cu1 xGdxN under a
magnetic field of 100 Oe is shown in Figure 3. For x = 0.15, decreasing from 300 to 147 K, the ZFC
and FC curves are virtually indistinguishable, and then an abrupt magnetic transition from PM to FM
with a pronounced ZFC FC irreversibility appears at a TC of ~146 K, as shown in Figure 3a.
Noticeably, with a slightly increase in the Gd content from 0.15 to 0.17, the M(T) curves (Figure 3b)
exhibit entirely different features, in which two magnetic transitions are clearly observed. One is the
typical PM FM phase transition located at high temperature (TC1), and the other is the FM
antiferromagnetic (AFM) transition at low temperature (TC2). Further increasing the Gd content, the
TC1 shifts to high temperatures (from 164 to 239 K), while the TC2 gradually moves towards low
temperature (from 118 to 99 K) as demonstrated in Figures 3c and 3d. In addition, to further verify the
low temperature magnetic features, the temperature dependent high magnetic field magnetization was
measured under 20 kOe, as shown in the insets of Figures 3a d. Obviously, a typical AFM peak is
observed from the inset as displayed in Figures 3b d, and the decreased slope of PM FM transition
suggest that it is the second order transition induced by Gd doping. For Mn3CuN, the structural phase
transition brings a three dimensional geometrical frustration in Mn6N octahedron 45, and then the
next nearest neighbor (Mn N Mn)

Beethoven Haydn Symphony 104
Lastly, the third music that the played it was for Haydn Symphony No. 104. I do know this piece, and
I was happy when I saw them playing it. they played the four movements. The first one which was the
Adagio Allegro, reminded me with Beethoven his 9th symphony. The opening of this movement was
hard and dynamic of it is loud at the beginning, but then is getting softer with the cello and violins. It
tempo of it is fast as well; it feels like a darkness with the loud start at the beginning. The end of it was
pretty by the cords, it is a nice piece. The second movement Andante opened by the violin. It is fast a
little bit and softer than the first movement. It has repetition but different sounds and different
instruments. Then at the middle

The Dispute To Communism Dbq Analysis
The Commute to Communism Almost as soon as World War II had ended, the Cold War began, and
the Soviets wasted no time in spreading their communist ideals to nearby countries by forcefully
establishing communist governments. Soon after, they held on tightly to their eastern block of
Germany as a first defense from western political thought, even going as far as blockading Berlin from
any form of help, especially from the West. The West quickly responded by airlifting supplies that
included food, coal, etc. . This marked the first instance of the American policy of containment, which
was the idea that the Soviet Union and Soviet communism should not be allowed to spread
(Background Essay). As time went on and acts of communism began to burst out globally, the U.S.
policy of containment became an effective ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In June 1950, North Korea invaded and overran most of the country. In July 1950, American troops
were sent to Korea to fight the communists out of the south. By September that same year, the
Americans forced the North to retreat close to China s border. Mao Zedong, alarmed by the success of
the Americans, sent hundreds of troops to aid the North. This led to a stalemate as the North forced the
South to retreat back to the same division line as before the war (Document C). This is the strongest
example of the U.S. policy of containment as American troops were sent in only a month after the first
attack, which showed how fast the U.S. responded to the spread of communism to a noncommunist

Immigration Has Shaped America,But Now It S Becoming Harder
Immigration has shaped America, but now it s becoming harder and harder to enter this country. With
the growing threat that immigration is bad and that illegal immigrants are stealing American jobs,
many people believe the laws need to be even more strict. With Donald Trump recently elected that
may become a reality. Trump has said I will build a great wall and also anyone who is in the United
States Illegally is subject to deportation (Brandner). While it is important that Illegal immigrants be
dealt with not all of them are bad. Immigration has shaped the United States before and will continue

DACA is a program that allows young people from other countries to come live in the U.S with no
risk of being deported. This program has helped roughly 665,000 people live in the U.S (Wolgin).
Although it has become harder to live in the U.S many people still try and enter because they know
America gives them an opportunity that no other country does. This is what continues to make
America great. While a constant flow of people coming to America seems like a great idea to most,
President elect Trump thinks the U.S need to limit the people it let in. During his campaign he said he
would repeal DACA and kick out all illegal immigrants. His thought process behind this is that it will
free up jobs for Americans. Trump is right that it will free up jobs as roughly 8 million illegal
immigrants currently have jobs , but the issue is that Americans won t have the proper training to take
all of these jobs (Krogstad). This will lead to companies not producing what they should and being
forced to lay off people. So overall by kicking out all immigrants Trump will be costing many
Americans jobs and could lead to another depression. Another thing that Trump has said he will do is
build a wall around the U.S and Mexico. This wall will cost millions, maybe even billions of dollars,
yet Trump has not elaborated on how it will be paid for. He has said he will get Mexico to pay for it
and that he has a plan to do it, but nobody knows what that is. This

How does lobbying work in government
1. How does lobbying work in government?
Lobbying is an enormous business. A lobbyist is an advocate who seek outs to influence members of
the government (like members of Congress) to endorse legislation that would advantage their group.
The lobbying occupation is a lawful and essential part of our democratic political procedure that is not
extremely well implicit by the broad population. While the majority people think of lobbyists only as
paid experts, there are as well a lot of volunteer lobbyists. Anyone who appeals the government or
contacts their member of Congress to say an view is functioning as a lobbyist. Lobbying is a
synchronized industry and a guarded activity beneath the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution

Congress and a relation handful of federal officials cost and expend more than a few billion dollars
every year. in any case one company used up more than $1 billion in lobbying activities preceding

A good quality lobbyist can construct four or five times what a legislator or high ranking official
receives, and there s a motive for this. Crowds with interests in Washington pay large money for the
lobbyists they hire since if they re triumphant, the payoffs can be enormous: tax breaks for industries
and corporations; subsidies for business; protection from lawsuits or constant from laws their
competitors have got to obey. Lobbyists stand for just in relation to each American interest group and

organizations, environmental groups, and even local state, or foreign governments.

Bearded Iris Research Paper
There is something majestic and magical about the Bearded Iris. The only color that can not be found
in this beautiful flower is bright red. The bulbs are easy to plant and they can spread rather quickly.
These perennials are hardy in US Zones 3 9, needing a freeze so they can go dormant. They need to be
planted in late summer or early fall. They like a sunny spot with at least six hours of full sun to help to
keep the rhizomes dry. They grow best in a neutral soil and only need granular fertilizer a couple time
a year. The best times to feed them is in the early spring and after they bloom. It s best to plant them
about 16 18 inches apart for good air circulation. They do not need mulching because constant
moisture will rot the rhizomes.

That was not the case for the inhabitants of the Americas and Africans because they were not treated

Europeans had different religious, political and regional views which caused created issues. Moreover,
Native Americans and Africans had many groups with their own languages and cultures. The conquest

Compare And Contrast The Canterbury Tales And The Cook s Tale
The Canterbury Tales has many tales that have great meaning that is told in their own special way,
depending on the reader s understanding of the tales. I chose to compare and contrast The Prioress s
Tale and The Cook s Tale. What makes these two tales the same, but different in their own way? Of
course, the common answer would be the tales are written by the same author, but they are told by
different people. These stories have in common that the main characters do what they love, and the
theme is to stay true to yourself. The main differences between the two tales are that the characters are
from different generations, they are different kinds of genre, and the role of wrongdoing. With the
tales being told the way the author wrote it, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In the Cook s Tale, the story was told of young man, who had a job, but enjoy the city life more. The

Tagged Architecture Essay
 Tagged Architecture, is very flexible memory protection mechanism. Each word in a memory has
an extra bits which dedicated to control access. In implementation of tagged architecture, one memory
word can be designed as a read only in order to protect data. Another memory word can be set as read
and write or execute only as exemplified of Figure 5. For example, in some cases some data values are
not changed such as student id, student nationality. Those data can be protected in read only memory
word. A few systems have a tagged architecture memory protection such as The IBM System/38, The
Burroughs B6500 7500 system, because it is expensive and compatibility of other hardware.

Inventions Of Leonardo Da Vinci

The Inventions of Leonardo Da Vinci Everyone knows Leonardo Da Vinci for his Last Supper
Painting and the Mona Lisa. Not only was Da Vinci a painter he was also an inventor. He had a
fascination for planes and other unique things. He made the designs for things like guns and planes
that we use for our military and did not even know he was the first with the ideas of these inventions .
He made designs for four flying machines such as the anemometer and the parachute. He made
designs for four war machines such has the crossbow and armed car. He made designs for five
innovations such the clock and the colossus. And last but not least, he designed two water machines
such as the scuba gear.
As I stated in the previous paragraph Leonardo Da Vinci had a thing for planes so he decided to a
make a design for the anemometer. If you did not know what this device does, it helps measure the
speed of wind. Though Da Vinci did not invent the anemometer, he did however make many variation
from the original one invented by Leon Batista back in 1450. Da Vinci s design for the anemometer
had an arched frame with a rectangular piece of wood hanging from the piece of wood.
So everyone know that when jump out of a plane, you need a parachute. Most people think that
Sebastian Lenormand designed the parachute well guess what they are wrong. Leonardo Da Vinci
actually created the parachute in way before Lenormand came along. Da

Obligation In The Middle Ages
The idea of the three orders directly illustrates that mutual obligation was an important part of
medieval life, and it does so in several different ways. The three orders are those who pray, those who
fight, and those who work. Through mutual obligation, the people on each side of the bargain get
something in return. But, even though each person gets something in return, it doesn t mean that what
they receive is always amazing. The main system for medieval society was the system of allegiance
between vassals and their lords, however it only refers to one of the three orders of medieval society.
One of the three orders is those who prayed. Those who prayed were obligated to devote their lives to
prayer and to the Church. They were usually monks, cardinals, priests, nuns, and other members of the
clergy. Those who prayed were also responsible for the well being of all Christians in Europe. In
return for their services, these members of the clergy, etc. were protected and allowed to live on the
lord s land. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Those who fought were obligated to provide military services to their lord and protect those who
worked and lived on the land. Those who fought were the vassals, dukes, the lesser nobility, and
knights. They were responsible for handling any threats and fighting that occurred on their lords lands.
In return for their service, these knights, etc. received fiefs. Fiefs are grants of land from a lord. These
knights, etc. also became vassals of the lord because when you receive a fief, you swear your
allegiance to this lord and become a vassal. Although, there was an error that caused many problems
with this system. This error was that knights and vassals could swear their allegiance to many different
lords, which made for complicated relationships when it came to fighting. Those who fought were the
backbone of medieval

Film Analysis Of The Movie Ex Machina
In this essay I will be taking an in depth look at the movie Ex Machina, and analyzing scenes of the
film and look for a deeper meaning and possible foreshadowing of things to follow in the film. In the
film Ex Machina, we are led to believe that the main points in the film are AI s and testing whether
they can be conscious, have emotions and basically have all the qualities and traits a human portrays.
Caleb who is believed to be chosen at random by Nathan to take part in being the person to test the AI,
realizes that is all, but random as Nathan had a purpose in choosing Caleb to take part in his tests. A

Caleb s room that he arrives in shortly after, has no windows and Nathan simply explains that it s a
research facility and windows are not needed, and he has a lot of things in his facility that he can t take
the chance of them being seen or exposed to someone on the outside. While it may be somewhat
accurate according to Nathan and the situation, I think the windowless rooms and the off limit rooms
are to give off a sense of seclusion to the audience and also to Caleb in the film, as it helps contribute
to his eventual meltdown towards the end of the movie.
Another deeper aspect revolves around the relationship formed between Caleb and Ava, as well as
how much Nathan knows about their relationship and everything he has to do with them having
feelings for each other and his awareness of it. At first, you realize the power outages and you
question as to whether Nathan is watching or not, because surely he knows Ava has something to do
with it and he s not stupid enough to just let them happen and lose those few moments of knowing
what they are talking about. Later, we see that Nathan does indeed know and sets up his own cameras,
but the more I thought the more I wondered if he let them happen on purpose to get them to confess
certain things to each other in those moments. Nathan being a programmer and a pretty smart guy,
surely, he could fix the power outages

The Beer Simulation
Root Beer Simulation From what I could see, there were not multiple roles to play in this simulation;
instead, everyone logging into the simulation appears to play the same role, which was that of the
distributor ordering products from the manufacturer and attempting to get them to the customers. This
is an important point, because in many ways a distributor has greater flexibility than a retailer and a
manufacturer, but, in other ways, faces far greater constraints than business people in other positions.
The distributor s role is to get stuff from a manufacturer or other wholesaler and then distribute that
stuff to resellers. From reading the instructions, it appears that there are actually different roles to play
in the project, but I actually logged in from different computers to see if I would get to play another
role in the game, but every time I ended up in the distributor role. One of the interesting things about
the simulation was that one did not start from scratch in the project. Instead, the simulation is already
running and is in a certain week of production and distribution when the student enters into the
stimulation. This means that the student gets both the benefit and the burden of work done by prior
students. In my scenario, this ended up having a very detrimental impact on me, because I began with
a tremendous backlog of product that my retailers had ordered from me. I cannot tell if the person

Real Courage In To Kill A Mockingbird
Real courage is not abundant in the city of Maycomb, even though the people ostensibly believe so.
They believe that having courage is defined as aspiring to become strong or to become a warrior. The
author, however, believes in a different kind of courage that these people do not have. In To Kill a
Mockingbird, the author, Harper Lee defines courage not as being a hero or a warrior, but as regular
people. What makes these regular people courageous is not their physical bravery, but their mental

Dubose. Mrs Dubose, at first, just seemed like a bitter, resentful, and exasperated old lady. Later in the
book, it becomes known that this attitude and behavior is due to her drug addiction, in which she was
addicted to morphine. She said she was going to leave this world beholden to nothing and nobody. She
just wanted to live the rest of her life detached from her addiction, but this made her seem like the
furious old lady she was. Her situation is comparable to giving up smoking in today s world, which, as
it is known, proves to be a difficult task to even the utmost willful. To add to that, according to modern
statistics, there is a lower chance of giving up smoking as people get older. People who are addicted
but give up their addiction dwell on the idea that they will never be happy again because they thought
that their addiction was what made them happy. This adds to proving her courage, especially because
the effect of morphine is much greater (mostly due to some chemical reactions from morphine in the
brain). To have the bravery and the willpower to give up the drug is what makes Mrs. Dubose a prime

Land and Soil Degradation Assessment
Chapter 3 3.1 Introduction Land and soil degradation assessments have recently become more
fashionable responding to environmental concerns particularly in industrial countries, following the
lead in developing countries that have claimed significant effects of land degradation on their
agricultural production and food security. The underlying causes of degradation have been very often
the basic socio economic structure and institutional structures of developing economies. Among them
are land shortage, inappropriate land tenure arrangements, poverty, and population growth. However,
the diverse factors that contribute to the problem make it necessary that a comprehensive approach is
taken by the authorities responsible for policy in different areas such as food security, forests, soil
conservation, and water resources. 3.2 National contexts, South Africa South Africa is located, as one
might expect, on the southern tip of Africa. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the west, the Indian
Ocean on the south and east. Along its northern border, from west to east, lay Namibia, Botswana, and
Zimbabwe, and to the northeast are Mozambique and Swaziland. Wholly enclosed by South Africa,
and situated in its eastern central plain, is the independent kingdom of Lesotho. The country is divided
into nine provinces namely Limpopo, Gauteng, North West, Free State, Kwazulu Natal, Mpumalanga,
Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, and also Western Cape. Although South Africa s climate varies

Jim Carrey Speech Analysis
Many people recognize Jim Carrey as the pet detective or the not so bright Lloyd Christmas, but
during his commencement speech to the graduating class of 2014 at the Maharishi University of
Management, he opens up to reveal a much deeper side of himself. While the speech he delivers is
permeated with his traditional humor, Carrey also inspires his audience to think about how they want
to conduct their lives. Carrey presents an effective argument for persuading college graduates who are
entering the work field to not let fear control how they live. By successfully employing anecdote,
analogy, and audience engagement, Carrey entices his audience to be willing to take risks and choose
love over fear when approaching a career and other life ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although he knew that his family could not afford a bike, he followed the advice of his substitute
teacher and prayed for one , and continued life normally, without particularly looking for how this
would be accomplished. Carrey then shares his later astonishment, saying, two weeks later, I got home
from school to find a brand new mustang bike with a banana seat and easy rider handlebars because a
friend had entered Carrey s name in a raffle without his knowledge. With this experience, Carrey gives
an example of his own outlook on life letting the universe know what you want and working towards
goals while letting go of how it might come to pass has worked in his own life. Through sharing this
positive experience, Carrey entices his audience to refuse choosing fear when things seem impossible,
and instead choose hope and love. Carrey uses analogy as a method of expressing certain ideas to his
audience. First, Carrey conveys the unpredictability of life by using an analogy of a cat that will rub
up against your leg and purr until you pick her up and start pettin her, and out of nowhere she ll swat
you in the face . For Carrey s audience of graduating college students, who are just about to enter the
work force and other aspects of life, this analogy helps students understand that life will be
unpredictable; both pleasant and painful. Since many have had

Hazing Essay
Hazing
Hazing is one of the fastest rising problems in America. Hazing has caused many deaths and
psychological problems to its victims. Hazing humiliates, and degrades individuals. People have heard
of hazing recently due to the deaths of many kids and teenagers. Hazing used to be thought of as
harmless and was considered to be harmless pranks with college students in fraternities. Today, hazing
is experienced by boys/men and girls/women in school groups, university organizations, athletic
teams, the military, and other social and professional organizations.

Hazing has often been thought to exist primarily in fraternities and sororities; many people are starting
to realize the pervasiveness of these harmful rituals. In fact, a recent study by Alfred University and
the NCAA found that approximately 80% of college athletes had been subjected to some form of
hazing. This total comes to more than 250,000 athletes during the 1998 99 school year alone. Half
were required to participate in drinking contests or alcohol related initiations while two thirds were
subjected to humiliating hazing. The majority of hazing occurs during the initiations to club sports and
fraternities/sororities.

Are you thinking about buying a Cricut machine? These personal die cutters from Provo Craft offer a
wealth of crafting possibilities, but it can be very confusing trying to decide which model to buy. The
machines do share some features, but they also are each unique from one another in various ways.
Before we discuss their differences, let s talk about how they are same. First, these die cutters are
considered cartridge based machines. They use artwork and fonts that are available on cartridges. This
means that all the machines, with the exception of the Cricut Mini, can be used without a computer.

the CraftRoom design tool in order to cut. It is not yet compatible with the Gypsy, but this capability
should be coming soon. It has the smallest footprint compared to the other models, and it uses a
uniquely sized cutting mat of 8 1/2 x 12 .
Which Cricut machine is best? If you ask ten different people, you will likely get ten different
answers. To decide which one to buy, think about how you will use it. Will you use it for only card

Advantages and Disadvantages of the Unitary, Confederation...
Advantages and Disadvantages of the Unitary, Confederation and the Federal system of the
Government
We can look at governmental systems as a continuum from a unitary type to a confederacy with
federalism sitting in the middle. The unitary government is often described as a centralized
government. It is a government in which all powers held by the government belong to a single, central
agency. The central government creates local units of government for its own convenience. Most of
the government in the world are unitary, Great Britain being one of them. One single central organ is
Parliament it holds all the power of the British government. Local governments do exist but solely to
relieve Parliament of burdens it could perform ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The disadvantages are weakness of central government it makes it unable to enforce laws or collect
taxes, also lack of unity and common laws.
Lastly we move to federal government this is one in which the powers of government is divided
between a central government and several local governments. There is a authority superior to both the
central and local governments which makes this division of powers on a geographic basis; That
division cannot be changed by either the local or national level acting alone. Both levels of
government act directly on the people through their own sets of laws, the officials, and agencies. In the
United States, for example the National Government has certain powers and the 50 states have others.
This division of powers is set out in the Constitution of the United States. However federal
government also has the advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of the Federal unity is that
local government handles local problems also the local government and officials have to be very
responsive of the people who elect them. The central government can devote more time and energy to
national and international problems. They also have more opportunities for participation in making
decisions that influence what is taught in the schools, also deciding where highways and government
projects are to be built. The disadvantages are the

The Ethical Use Of Student Dress Codes In Schools
In all started when in High School one girl got dress coded for dressing like a famous movie star and

colored pants with wide legs and a high waist, paired with a striped tank top and flat black shoes. This
was not showing any of her body beside her arms This is one of the many stories regarding strict dress
codes. Over the years, schools have implemented student dress codes to address a wide range of
issues. For example, in the late 1960s and 70s, young men with long hair were sometimes physically
attacked by their classmates and, as a result,

Schooled Gordon Korman Analysis
In the book Schooled written by Gordon Korman, we follow the story of a 14 teen year old named
Cap who has lived on a farm his entire life with his grandmother hippie, who is forced to leave his
farm because his grandmother got injured. Because of this he is forced to go into our society and go to
a normal middle school and live with his guidance counselor. And because he is very different, he is a
target in middle school and because of a tradition at that middle school, which elects the weirdest
person to be school president, he becomes school president. In the book there are many craft moves

This all obviously shows characters inter thinking and as previously mentioned sets up conflict,
however the first person narrative shows what multiple viewpoints does not. By utilizing first person
narrative in the text it shows what the character s motivation is. Multiple viewpoints doesn t shows the
character s motivation because we only see what they are thinking and saying and what kind of
problems they are having but we are not seeing what they want throughout the text. However first
person narrative shows what Cap s person s goal is and how they re going to achieve it. In the text, on
page 20, Cap says, I wonder if I can just go home and get out of this place. this really shows what
Caps motivation is, because of first person narrative, it can show what Caps interthinking is, which
can show his motivation. Another goal that the author tried tried to achieve was stirring empathy. We
se throughout the text, that Cap alwayed asked questions to himself about the world around him. It s
kind of dramatic irony because he asked questions about things that knows so little about and we see
everyday. So because of this the author makes the reader feel sorry for Cap because he is so clueless.
And by the author using first person narrative, we see Caps interthinking and his questions that he
asked himself. An example of this happening is on

Social Status
The Shining Status There are people that are poor, some are rich and those who are just fine. We all
have differences but we are all human and all need to live, although sometimes the importance of
where we stand can come in the way. In the story The Shining Houses we experience lots of judgment
and differences between people that relate to their popularity and social status. The more the world
grows, the more we see the priority of having a high social status in our societies. Alice Munro
describes to us a particular situation that can be related to our day to day lives. Marx s social hierarchy

differently at times. These statements are completely opposite for the more young and rich group of
people that take part of those of a high social status. In our society and the society in the story the
perspective shown is that it s what s on the outside that matters most. The looks and the money are
number one and one simple person who does not follow that may be seen with lots of judgement.
Things need to be new and not run down like Mrs. Fullerton s house and yard. These different

Examples Of Supernatural Elements In Jane Eyre
In addition to introducing the supernatural element of the story, the early chapters serve as a base for
Jane s future character and thought process. The way she is treated by Mrs. Reed, the children and the
servants influences and shapes the way she treats herself and the world around her throughout the
novel. From the very beginning, Jane s rebellious, free mind and her strong sense of justice are
undermined the constant self doubt and a tendency to compare herself with others. While she is aware
that much of what she suffers is unjustified, the constancy of the abuse over time does largely succeed
to crush her sense of righteousness and instil in her the thought that she is only being treated badly
because of her character and physical appearance. She constantly compares herself with her cousins,
saying that Eliza, who was headstrong and selfish, was respected , and Georgiana, who had a spoiled
temper, a very acrid spite, a captious and insolent carriage, was universally indulged , always forgiven
because of her beauty, her pink cheeks and golden curls. By using negative words such as headstrong
or insolent when she could alternatively describe them as strong willed or independent, Jane leaves no
doubt that, if she envies the treatment afforded to her cousins, she does not envy their character. Her
sense of injustice, however, seems to be directed more towards nature than the adults around her, as if
she thought that more agreeable or beautiful feature could

Seven Years War Affected The Revolutionary War
How the Seven Years War Affected the Revolutionary War The Seven Years War started the American
Revolution in the long run, which all started because America s militia s were never doing anything to
support the war, which led to them calling on Britain to help. Putting America in tons of debt because
when Britain sent over their troops after agreeing to the terms, it costed Britain a lot of money. In
which some day the Americans would have to pay back in full. To repay those debts, the British began
to tax the colonists with the Sugar Act, Stamp Act, Declaratory Act, Townshend Revenue Acts and the
Tea Act. Colonists began to rebel against these acts because the colonists seemed to believe it was
unfair treatment to make them pay back debts of a country so far away. After all of the fighting and
rebelling, the colonists started to look at independence a lot more often, making it seem to be the
better option in the long run. Britain began to be very over populated, which means the british wanted
to expand and move into the Ohio Valley area right along the Appalachian Mountains and Mississippi
River. In order for the French to keep Canada connected with the lower part of the Mississippi as well
as the Caribbean the French needed to keep that land. Nobody looked at whose land this really was, ...

Analysis Of Microchip Implant And Its Impact On Securing...
Introduction to Microchip Implant Microchip implant is an exceptionally well thought authentication
method that has the possibility of making a huge impact in securing information. The concept of
microchip implant was introduced in 1945 by Leon Theremin, who was the originator of one of the
first covert devices which is also known as bugs . This device is followed by Radio frequency
identification (RFID) technology which is a small electronic device that contains a chip. This chips
allows the ability to store data typically ranging up to 2,000 bytes or less. RFID is comparable to
magnetic strips or bar codes because they all act as a unique identifier for a specific purpose. In order
to obtain information from an RFID, you must scan the device just as how a magnetic strip or bar code
would require scanning. RFID can also be described as the wireless non contact use of radio frequency
electromagnetic fields that helps in transferring data with the goal of being able to automatically
recognize and monitor tags that are being attached to objects. RFID technology is currently being used
by many different industries varying from identifications badges that enclose RFID tags that assist
with eliminating the chances of shoplifting, to vehicles using the technology to help monitor the
production process and track the vehicles across the assembly line. Other scenarios that may use the
microchip implant includes animals having RFID tags placed in them for identification purposes as

The Death Of An Athlete Dying Young By. Housman
To an Athlete Dying Young , by A.E. Housman, is a thought provoking elegy. The poem is about the
early demise of an accomplished runner. Surely, it is sad when someone dies too soon especially when
there is so much to look forward to. One may ask, Is there an advantage of dying young? Well, there
is! In this poem, Housman shows the silver lining to dying young during the height of one s success.
The first stanza of the poem starts off in a happy mood. Housman use imagery to establish the fame
and glory of a young athlete. The speaker reminisces about the time when the young athlete was
coming home after he won a race. It also establishes the relationship between the athlete and the
people in his town. On his way home, people gather around the market place to watch and cheer for
him. To the people, he is not merely an athlete. He is their hometown hero. He is the glory of the town.
The young athlete relishes in the fame as the people carry him high up on their shoulders and parade
him home. But the happiness quickly changes in the second stanza. The second stanza begins with a
time shift from reminiscing of the past to the present. The mood of the poem also makes a dramatic
shift from happy to solemn. Today, the road all runners come/ Shoulder high we bring you home. (
Housman 5 6). Even though it is not clearly stated that the young runner died, the title of the poem
makes it obvious. The road is a metaphor for death. It is a path that we are all going down. The

  • 2. The School Age Child Is Kept On The Heart Of A Child The Young Child is constantly withheld from many of his desires by physical restrictions. We use baby gates, fences, locks on doors and cabinets (restricted areas), cribs, playpens, leashes, and brief commands ( NO! YES! ). We carefully watch the young child; monitoring what he sees, where he goes, and with whom he associates. These barriers are primarily for the purpose of protecting the child from himself from his own desire to seek his own will prior to an age when he has knowledge, self discipline, a fear of the Lord, or help from the Holy Spirit to resist that which is harmful to him. The School Age Child is still in bondage under the elements of the world. Gal. 4:3 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child. Prov. 22:15a Having foolishness in his heart, he is likely to act the part of a fool a fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself. Prov. 18:2 He constantly desires to venture into the department store of the flesh. Nothing is more dangerous than allowing a child to discover himself at this age. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jer. 17:9 Being at the beginning of his formal training in self discipline, he is relatively helpless at controlling his own desires; and the fleshly nature is thought to be a fascinating friend rather than seen to contain no good thing. Rom. 7:18 As a parent, you must protect him from his own worst enemy his flesh, and two other predatory ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Fine Dining Restaurants Decline in Sales Fine Dining Decline in Sales Fine dining restaurants are full service restaurants with an upscale menu and extensive beverage offerings. The restaurants generally have a more sophisticated décor and ambiance, the wait staff is usually highly trained and often wars more formal attire, and there is often a dress code for patrons (Trends in Fine Dining). Economic downturn caused high end restaurants decline in sales and even going out of businesses. During the recession period, restaurant operators are facing challenge of food price inflation and consumer s preference change. Consumers want less tradition, relaxed and less expensive restaurants. Fine dining become unaffordable to most people during the downturn. Also, food price inflation are tighten their budget and operators are trying to balance the cost while generating profit. On the other hand, income stay leveled and did not competing with inflation. Consumers still want good food and services but they are seeking for place they feel connected, comfortable, quick services and affordable price. Fine dining restaurants become a luxury and not affordable to some consumers; operators are facing challenges to attract and retain their consumers. The economic downturn started in 2008 to 2009, according to Hudson Riehle, an economist for the National Restaurant Association, this is the most challenging period for restaurant operators since 1991. In a recent NRA survey, 53% of restaurant owners cited either the faltering ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Temperature Dependence Of Magnetization M ( T ) Next, the temperature dependence of magnetization M(T) curves of Mn3Cu1 xGdxN under a magnetic field of 100 Oe is shown in Figure 3. For x = 0.15, decreasing from 300 to 147 K, the ZFC and FC curves are virtually indistinguishable, and then an abrupt magnetic transition from PM to FM with a pronounced ZFC FC irreversibility appears at a TC of ~146 K, as shown in Figure 3a. Noticeably, with a slightly increase in the Gd content from 0.15 to 0.17, the M(T) curves (Figure 3b) exhibit entirely different features, in which two magnetic transitions are clearly observed. One is the typical PM FM phase transition located at high temperature (TC1), and the other is the FM antiferromagnetic (AFM) transition at low temperature (TC2). Further increasing the Gd content, the TC1 shifts to high temperatures (from 164 to 239 K), while the TC2 gradually moves towards low temperature (from 118 to 99 K) as demonstrated in Figures 3c and 3d. In addition, to further verify the low temperature magnetic features, the temperature dependent high magnetic field magnetization was measured under 20 kOe, as shown in the insets of Figures 3a d. Obviously, a typical AFM peak is observed from the inset as displayed in Figures 3b d, and the decreased slope of PM FM transition suggest that it is the second order transition induced by Gd doping. For Mn3CuN, the structural phase transition brings a three dimensional geometrical frustration in Mn6N octahedron 45, and then the next nearest neighbor (Mn N Mn) ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Beethoven Haydn Symphony 104 Lastly, the third music that the played it was for Haydn Symphony No. 104. I do know this piece, and I was happy when I saw them playing it. they played the four movements. The first one which was the Adagio Allegro, reminded me with Beethoven his 9th symphony. The opening of this movement was hard and dynamic of it is loud at the beginning, but then is getting softer with the cello and violins. It tempo of it is fast as well; it feels like a darkness with the loud start at the beginning. The end of it was pretty by the cords, it is a nice piece. The second movement Andante opened by the violin. It is fast a little bit and softer than the first movement. It has repetition but different sounds and different instruments. Then at the middle ... • 6. The Dispute To Communism Dbq Analysis The Commute to Communism Almost as soon as World War II had ended, the Cold War began, and the Soviets wasted no time in spreading their communist ideals to nearby countries by forcefully establishing communist governments. Soon after, they held on tightly to their eastern block of Germany as a first defense from western political thought, even going as far as blockading Berlin from any form of help, especially from the West. The West quickly responded by airlifting supplies that included food, coal, etc. . This marked the first instance of the American policy of containment, which was the idea that the Soviet Union and Soviet communism should not be allowed to spread (Background Essay). As time went on and acts of communism began to burst out globally, the U.S. policy of containment became an effective ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In June 1950, North Korea invaded and overran most of the country. In July 1950, American troops were sent to Korea to fight the communists out of the south. By September that same year, the Americans forced the North to retreat close to China s border. Mao Zedong, alarmed by the success of the Americans, sent hundreds of troops to aid the North. This led to a stalemate as the North forced the South to retreat back to the same division line as before the war (Document C). This is the strongest example of the U.S. policy of containment as American troops were sent in only a month after the first attack, which showed how fast the U.S. responded to the spread of communism to a noncommunist ... With the growing threat that immigration is bad and that illegal immigrants are stealing American jobs, many people believe the laws need to be even more strict. With Donald Trump recently elected that may become a reality. Trump has said I will build a great wall and also anyone who is in the United States Illegally is subject to deportation (Brandner). DACA is a program that allows young people from other countries to come live in the U.S with no risk of being deported. This program has helped roughly 665,000 people live in the U.S (Wolgin). Although it has become harder to live in the U.S many people still try and enter because they know America gives them an opportunity that no other country does. This is what continues to make America great. While a constant flow of people coming to America seems like a great idea to most, President elect Trump thinks the U.S need to limit the people it let in. During his campaign he said he would repeal DACA and kick out all illegal immigrants. His thought process behind this is that it will free up jobs for Americans. Trump is right that it will free up jobs as roughly 8 million illegal immigrants currently have jobs , but the issue is that Americans won t have the proper training to take all of these jobs (Krogstad). This will lead to companies not producing what they should and being forced to lay off people. So overall by kicking out all immigrants Trump will be costing many Americans jobs and could lead to another depression. Another thing that Trump has said he will do is build a wall around the U.S and Mexico. This wall will cost millions, maybe even billions of dollars, yet Trump has not elaborated on how it will be paid for. He has said he will get Mexico to pay for it and that he has a plan to do it, but nobody knows what that is. This ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A lobbyist is an advocate who seek outs to influence members of the government (like members of Congress) to endorse legislation that would advantage their group. The lobbying occupation is a lawful and essential part of our democratic political procedure that is not extremely well implicit by the broad population. While the majority people think of lobbyists only as paid experts, there are as well a lot of volunteer lobbyists. Not only was Da Vinci a painter he was also an inventor. He had a fascination for planes and other unique things. He made the designs for things like guns and planes that we use for our military and did not even know he was the first with the ideas of these inventions . He made designs for four flying machines such as the anemometer and the parachute. He made designs for four war machines such has the crossbow and armed car. He made designs for five innovations such the clock and the colossus. And last but not least, he designed two water machines such as the scuba gear. As I stated in the previous paragraph Leonardo Da Vinci had a thing for planes so he decided to a make a design for the anemometer. If you did not know what this device does, it helps measure the speed of wind. Though Da Vinci did not invent the anemometer, he did however make many variation from the original one invented by Leon Batista back in 1450. Da Vinci s design for the anemometer had an arched frame with a rectangular piece of wood hanging from the piece of wood. So everyone know that when jump out of a plane, you need a parachute. • 18. Obligation In The Middle Ages The idea of the three orders directly illustrates that mutual obligation was an important part of medieval life, and it does so in several different ways. The three orders are those who pray, those who fight, and those who work. Through mutual obligation, the people on each side of the bargain get something in return. But, even though each person gets something in return, it doesn t mean that what they receive is always amazing. The main system for medieval society was the system of allegiance between vassals and their lords, however it only refers to one of the three orders of medieval society. One of the three orders is those who prayed. Those who prayed were obligated to devote their lives to prayer and to the Church. They were usually monks, cardinals, priests, nuns, and other members of the clergy. Those who prayed were also responsible for the well being of all Christians in Europe. In the film Ex Machina, we are led to believe that the main points in the film are AI s and testing whether they can be conscious, have emotions and basically have all the qualities and traits a human portrays. Caleb who is believed to be chosen at random by Nathan to take part in being the person to test the AI, realizes that is all, but random as Nathan had a purpose in choosing Caleb to take part in his tests. While it may be somewhat accurate according to Nathan and the situation, I think the windowless rooms and the off limit rooms are to give off a sense of seclusion to the audience and also to Caleb in the film, as it helps contribute to his eventual meltdown towards the end of the movie. Another deeper aspect revolves around the relationship formed between Caleb and Ava, as well as how much Nathan knows about their relationship and everything he has to do with them having feelings for each other and his awareness of it. At first, you realize the power outages and you question as to whether Nathan is watching or not, because surely he knows Ava has something to do with it and he s not stupid enough to just let them happen and lose those few moments of knowing what they are talking about. Later, we see that Nathan does indeed know and sets up his own cameras, but the more I thought the more I wondered if he let them happen on purpose to get them to confess certain things to each other in those moments. • 20. The Beer Simulation Root Beer Simulation From what I could see, there were not multiple roles to play in this simulation; instead, everyone logging into the simulation appears to play the same role, which was that of the distributor ordering products from the manufacturer and attempting to get them to the customers. This is an important point, because in many ways a distributor has greater flexibility than a retailer and a manufacturer, but, in other ways, faces far greater constraints than business people in other positions. The distributor s role is to get stuff from a manufacturer or other wholesaler and then distribute that stuff to resellers. From reading the instructions, it appears that there are actually different roles to play in the project, but I actually logged in from different computers to see if I would get to play another role in the game, but every time I ended up in the distributor role. One of the interesting things about the simulation was that one did not start from scratch in the project. Instead, the simulation is already running and is in a certain week of production and distribution when the student enters into the stimulation. This means that the student gets both the benefit and the burden of work done by prior students. They believe that having courage is defined as aspiring to become strong or to become a warrior. The author, however, believes in a different kind of courage that these people do not have. In To Kill a Mockingbird, the author, Harper Lee defines courage not as being a hero or a warrior, but as regular people. What makes these regular people courageous is not their physical bravery, but their mental bravery. Land and Soil Degradation Assessment Chapter 3 3.1 Introduction Land and soil degradation assessments have recently become more fashionable responding to environmental concerns particularly in industrial countries, following the lead in developing countries that have claimed significant effects of land degradation on their agricultural production and food security. The underlying causes of degradation have been very often the basic socio economic structure and institutional structures of developing economies. Among them are land shortage, inappropriate land tenure arrangements, poverty, and population growth. However, the diverse factors that contribute to the problem make it necessary that a comprehensive approach is taken by the authorities responsible for policy in different areas such as food security, forests, soil conservation, and water resources. 3.2 National contexts, South Africa South Africa is located, as one might expect, on the southern tip of Africa. • 34. Examples Of Supernatural Elements In Jane Eyre In addition to introducing the supernatural element of the story, the early chapters serve as a base for Jane s future character and thought process. The way she is treated by Mrs. Reed, the children and the servants influences and shapes the way she treats herself and the world around her throughout the novel. From the very beginning, Jane s rebellious, free mind and her strong sense of justice are undermined the constant self doubt and a tendency to compare herself with others. While she is aware that much of what she suffers is unjustified, the constancy of the abuse over time does largely succeed to crush her sense of righteousness and instil in her the thought that she is only being treated badly because of her character and physical appearance. She constantly compares herself with her cousins, saying that Eliza, who was headstrong and selfish, was respected , and Georgiana, who had a spoiled temper, a very acrid spite, a captious and insolent carriage, was universally indulged , always forgiven because of her beauty, her pink cheeks and golden curls. By using negative words such as headstrong or insolent when she could alternatively describe them as strong willed or independent, Jane leaves no doubt that, if she envies the treatment afforded to her cousins, she does not envy their character. Her sense of injustice, however, seems to be directed more towards nature than the adults around her, as if she thought that more agreeable or beautiful feature could ... • 35. Seven Years War Affected The Revolutionary War How the Seven Years War Affected the Revolutionary War The Seven Years War started the American Revolution in the long run, which all started because America s militia s were never doing anything to support the war, which led to them calling on Britain to help. Putting America in tons of debt because when Britain sent over their troops after agreeing to the terms, it costed Britain a lot of money. In which some day the Americans would have to pay back in full. To repay those debts, the British began to tax the colonists with the Sugar Act, Stamp Act, Declaratory Act, Townshend Revenue Acts and the Tea Act. Colonists began to rebel against these acts because the colonists seemed to believe it was unfair treatment to make them pay back debts of a country so far away. After all of the fighting and rebelling, the colonists started to look at independence a lot more often, making it seem to be the better option in the long run. Britain began to be very over populated, which means the british wanted to expand and move into the Ohio Valley area right along the Appalachian Mountains and Mississippi River. In order for the French to keep Canada connected with the lower part of the Mississippi as well as the Caribbean the French needed to keep that land. Nobody looked at whose land this really was, ... Introduction to Microchip Implant Microchip implant is an exceptionally well thought authentication method that has the possibility of making a huge impact in securing information. The concept of microchip implant was introduced in 1945 by Leon Theremin, who was the originator of one of the first covert devices which is also known as bugs . This device is followed by Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology which is a small electronic device that contains a chip. This chips allows the ability to store data typically ranging up to 2,000 bytes or less. RFID is comparable to magnetic strips or bar codes because they all act as a unique identifier for a specific purpose. In order to obtain information from an RFID, you must scan the device just as how a magnetic strip or bar code would require scanning. RFID can also be described as the wireless non contact use of radio frequency electromagnetic fields that helps in transferring data with the goal of being able to automatically recognize and monitor tags that are being attached to objects. RFID technology is currently being used by many different industries varying from identifications badges that enclose RFID tags that assist with eliminating the chances of shoplifting, to vehicles using the technology to help monitor the production process and track the vehicles across the assembly line. Other scenarios that may use the microchip implant includes animals having RFID tags placed in them for identification purposes as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 40. The Death Of An Athlete Dying Young By. Housman To an Athlete Dying Young , by A.E. Housman, is a thought provoking elegy. The poem is about the early demise of an accomplished runner. Surely, it is sad when someone dies too soon especially when there is so much to look forward to. One may ask, Is there an advantage of dying young? Well, there is! In this poem, Housman shows the silver lining to dying young during the height of one s success. The first stanza of the poem starts off in a happy mood. Housman use imagery to establish the fame and glory of a young athlete. The speaker reminisces about the time when the young athlete was coming home after he won a race. It also establishes the relationship between the athlete and the people in his town. On his way home, people gather around the market place to watch and cheer for him. To the people, he is not merely an athlete. He is their hometown hero. He is the glory of the town. The young athlete relishes in the fame as the people carry him high up on their shoulders and parade him home. But the happiness quickly changes in the second stanza. The second stanza begins with a time shift from reminiscing of the past to the present. The mood of the poem also makes a dramatic shift from happy to solemn. Today, the road all runners come/ Shoulder high we bring you home. ( Housman 5 6). Even though it is not clearly stated that the young runner died, the title of the poem makes it obvious. The road is a metaphor for death. It is a path that we are all going down. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
