For several years, guests of Dominican Starfish Foundation have been bringing donations of baseball equipment, shoes, uniforms and more. It’s a great outing to play baseball with the local, children, youth and adults. But watch out!! They are really good!!

A dental group

6. We met Jenny in 2014.
She has five children
and had no reputable
way of feeding her
family.
With donations,
Dominican Starfish
Foundation was able
to build a new home
for her family.
We also helped her get
training so that she
could be employed.

7. At the age of 12, Ramon on the left was already passionate
about baseball. One of our volunteers, Lisa, saw him playing
“baseball” with a doll’s head and a stick. She gave him his
very first baseball.

8. Eight years
later, in May,
2022,
Ramon
Vasquez was
signed by the
Oakland A’s.
