HISTORY 
• The first bar appeared in Great britain aaabout 170 years ago. 
• Tt was invented by I.K. Brunel a British engineer 
• The first bar to serve alcohol was installed at the Great Western 
Hotel, London. (now known as THE HOTEL HILTON L.Paddington.)
what is "The BAR" ? 
• It the place which serves soft and alcholic beverages 
including draft and bottled beer,wine,spirits and cocktails. 
• The term bar mean specialized counter on which drinks 
are served. it is alsothe method of serving customer from 
a counter.
what is "THE BARMEN" or "BARTENDER" 
A barman/ bartender 
is a person who 
server from behind a 
raised bar counter in 
a bar, pub,tavern or 
similar establishment 
A bartender maybe 
an employee or the 
bar owner

Light sorts of beer are lager and pilsner. 
Dark sorts of beer are porter, stout,bock and ale.

MiNi BaR 
• it not a place for drink and 
having snacks 
• A mini-bar is a small 
private snacks and 
beverage bar provided in 
upscale hotel rooms 
• guest pays extra for the 
consumptions of each 
item which is much more 
expensive than the same 
outside the hotel 
• this kind of service is 
extremely Profitable.
