This document outlines the course requirements for OCR Specification B Geography. There are four themes that are examined: rivers and coasts, population and settlement, natural hazards, and economic development. Students will complete a terminal exam worth 50% of their grade on three of these themes, as well as a sustainable decision-making exercise worth 25% based on economic development. As part of the geographical enquiry, students must complete either a fieldwork-based task or geographical investigation worth 10-15% of their grade by investigating a question related to one of the themes.
