Giuseppe Moscati was a Catholic physician born in Italy in 1880 who dedicated his life to serving the poor and sick. After observing his brother's medical treatment, he became interested in medicine and became a renowned professor and biochemist. However, he is most known for his kindness and charitable work, treating over 3,000 patients without charge. Moscati was beatified in 1975 and later canonized as a saint in 1987 for his exemplary life of faith and service to others.
