Carlo Acutis was an Italian Catholic teenager known for his holiness, passion about the Eucharist, and devotion to God from a young age. Even with a computer genius intellect, he used his talents to create a website about Eucharistic miracles to spread faith. When diagnosed with leukemia, Carlo offered his suffering for the Church and those who were ill. He was declared venerable in 2018 and will be beatified in October 2020 in Assisi, where his tomb has become a site for veneration, as he lived a normal life that became extraordinary through putting God at the center.
