The owner of the factory Mr. Karim Kidwai told
us about the ingredients used
Flour
Salt
Sugar
Yeast
Milk powder
Olive oil
Flavoring agent
 All the ingredients were in a machine called
mixer, these are mixed and kept for 24 hrs. in
freezer till it becomes solid block.
 All these blocks are sliced through cutter.
 Sliced pieces are brought to oven.

 And, finally sliced are packed and ready for
delivery.
WATER POLLUTION
 Effluents are discharged without treatment ,which
mixes with nearby water bodies and pollute it.
 Chemicals present in effluents led to
EUTROPHICATION, which is harmful for aquatic
life.
 Some of the polybags are thrown into drainage,
which chocked the drainage system, consequences
into water lagging, foul smells from the water.
SOIL POLLUTION
 Sacks and polybags are thrown in open, which
degrades the quality of soil.
SOUND POLLUTION
 Noise coming from cutter and mixer make the
environment non conducive for the workers.
AIR POLLUTION
 Very minute crumbs of the bread present in the air
might enter the nose of the workers which may be
harmful.
 Crumbs of the bread are sold to the dairy
industry as yeast, as it increases the milk
production of dairy animals.
 Trays are polished through oil and dalda to
reduce the water uses.
 Damage trays are sold to the hawkers .
 There should be proper waste-management by
segregating the waste into bio-degradable and non
bio degradable and put into separate dustbins.
 Chemicals waste that are used in making biscuits
are must be treated before discharging.
 Ovens that are used must be checked properly
and at regular basis, to reduce the consumption of
power.
