Leah Goold-Haws
Leah Goold-Haws currently serves as the Director of Global Trade and
Logistics for the Greater Los Angeles region, serving 18 colleges and hosted at
Long Beach City College. Previously, Leah served the Far Northern California
Region as the Deputy Sector Navigator for Global Trade & Logistics and as a
consultant for the Centers for International Trade Development (CITD). Leah’s
work has focused on developing strategies for business growth —both
domestically and globally. She is the creator of Know Opportunity, a board
game that teaches global commerce and entrepreneurship, as featured in
both Forbes and Inc magazines. Leah’s entrepreneurial ventures include
having founded 3 separate businesses – LGH Marketing/Strategy, Mindevices
and Girls Gone Global. Leah also launched and served as the executive
director for Working Strategies for Women, an initiative built on her
curriculum, teaching women business owners global entrepreneurship. As she
indicates in her TEDx talk “You Are Here”, Leah is a passionate global business
advocate.
