Baboons are large monkeys that live in savanna habitats in Africa. They are omnivores that weigh between 30 to 90 pounds, can be 2 to 4 feet long, and have tails up to 70 cm. Baboons live in groups and communicate loudly, while females sometimes give birth to twins. They are threatened by predators like lions and leopards and loss of habitat.
