Mobile Learning (M-Learning) is an emerging discipline in the area of education and educational technology. So researchers are trying to optimize and expanding its application in the field of education. The aim of this paper is to investigate the role of mobile devices and expert systems in disseminating and supporting the knowledge gained by intelligent tutors and to propose a system based on integration of intelligent M-Learning with expert systems. It acts as an intelligent tutor which can perform three processes - pre-test, learning concept and post-test - according to characteristic of the learner. The proposed system can improves the education efficiency highly as well as decreases costs. As a result, every time and everywhere (ETEW) simple and cheap learning would be provided via SMS, MMS and so on in this system. The global intention of M-Learning is to make learning “a way of being”.

There is general insecurity in the contemporary learning environment particularly at secondary education level. Such insecurity could be posed by distractions to learning as a result of peer pressure, poor program design in the schools and lack of appropriate provision and utilization of learning resources such as the ICT tools. Students of secondary schools are within the age bracket of 14-18 years, which fairly corresponds with the teenage or adolescence stage. Due to limited life experience of this age group, they trend to misuse the ICT infrastructure put in place to support their learning in school or even at home. Therefore, care has to be exercised to protect learners from dangerous and harmful effects of such ICT tools as internet which facilitates access to dangerous websites that render them vulnerable to insecurities and distractions. This paper discussed the available ICT tools in Nigerian secondary schools, the need to guide the students in proper utilization of such tools so that they do not fall victims of the insecurity posed by negative influence of the ICT tools. The paper recommended some strategies to be applied by teachers, administrators, policy makers, and care givers in protecting the learners from such dangers.An e learning approach to secondary school education

During computation of results, the exam officers collect paper results from the department and either calculate them on papers or enter them on a computer for computation. Either of them is hard work and time wasting. Hence we propose a change and retrieval agent in computing results in ChukwuemekaOdumegwuOjukwu University, Uli. Since the University already has an existing website, we require a new format for uploading results to the website using Microsoft excel witheight (8) specific columns namely: names of students, registration numbers, continuous assignment, examination score, total score, grade and remarks done by course lecturers.To compute the results of a particular student, the exam officer opens the application; enters the required detail and the application will fetch and populate the grade fields automatically from the results already uploaded on the university website by the course lecturers. The application needs internet connection in order to do this. Thereafter the results are computed by the application. The methodology used is Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methods. The application is a windows application written with Microsoft visual basic.net. The database used in saving login information and computed CGPAs is a free distributed database MySQL. The result of this researchis a functional result retrieval and computation application used only by the authorized personnel for computation of degree results.

Learning objects and open contents have been named in the Horizon reports from 2004 and 2010 respectively, predicting to have an impact in the short term due to the current trend of offering open content for free on the Web. OER repositories should adapt their features so their contents can be accessed from mobile devices. This paper summarizes recent trends in the creation, publication, discovery, acquisition, access, use and re-use of learning objects on mobile devices based on a literature review on research done from 2007 to 2012. From the content providers side, we present the results obtained from a survey performed on 23 educational repository owners prompting them to answer about their current and expected support on mobile devices. From the content user side, we identify features provided by the main OER repositories. Finally, we introduce future trends and our next contributions.

The application is a windows application written with Microsoft visual basic.net. The database used in saving login information and computed CGPAs is a free distributed database MySQL. The result of this researchis a functional result retrieval and computation application used only by the authorized personnel for computation of degree results.
Development of E-learning Software Based Multiplatform Components
E-learning software is a product of information and communication technology used to help dynamic and flexible learning process between teacher and student. The software technology was first used in the development of e-learning software in the form of web applications. The advantages of this technology because of the ease in the development, installation, and distribution of data. Along with advances in mobile/wireless electronics technology, e-learning software is adapted to this technology known as mobile learning. The ability of this electronic device is the same as a single computer even though it is simpler than a single computer. The problem that arises when e-learning software operates on multiple platforms is that computer programs are made repeatedly depending on the platform being used. This situation will obviously affect the quality of e-learning software. To overcome these problems, in this study developed component-based software that is a modern paradigm for software development that produces reusable software components, high quality, and cost-effective. In software development, software components will be assembled in the software in need. The result of this research is high quality e-learning software based multiplatform component.

Learning objects and open contents have been named in the Horizon reports from 2004 and 2010 respectively, predicting to have an impact in the short term due to the current trend of offering open content for free on the Web. OER repositories should adapt their features so their contents can be accessed from mobile devices. This paper summarizes recent trends in the creation, publication, discovery, acquisition, access, use and re-use of learning objects on mobile devices based on a literature review on research done from 2007 to 2012. From the content providers side, we present the results obtained from a survey performed on 23 educational repository owners prompting them to answer about their current and expected support on mobile devices. From the content user side, we identify features provided by the main OER repositories. Finally, we introduce future trends and our next contributions.

these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
