INTRODUCTION
Automation is all about solving the
problems of people, to give them a
better lifestyle.
In daily routine we use several
automated systems like fair meter of
taxi, automated announcements,
security checking, automated texts
from bank etc.
My opinion is that SMAC, IoT &
Automation are not different
areas they are interconnected, As
picture showing. 2
Formal definition:
The creation and application of technology to monitor and
control the production and delivery of products and
services.
Today everyone want less input and more output for
better efficiency and growth of an organization. To put less
efforts, human resources and money we need to use
automation. The automated systems are more accurate
and fast, in automated manufacturing & defense the
chances of accidental lose of human are less.
If a automated system is not made properly or failure
occur the system can cause many misshaping for example
If the flight information board of an airport fails
You may take the flight of South Africa to go Australia.
But some times artificial intelligence helps to
override the system failure, Now I am adding
new area ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE in
automation!

• Building automation: In metro cities most of the
shopping complexes have automated entry door and
security check, but homes don’t have these systems
because of small space and high cost.
• Automated manufacturing: To improve the quality and
quantity of products every industry is adopting the
automation like: robotic arms, testing machines,
counting machines, conveyer belts etc.
• Automation in agriculture: It is developed area in
Australia But in India it is developing, Farmers collects
the data of their fields and analyzes them and take
action to correct the parameters and they do all these
things from a single PC in control room.
• Automated retail: Today most of the airports and metro
rail stations have some automatic machines you just
have to insert money and select what you want. 4
TRENDS
There are various sharp-edge trends in Automation few of them are:
• Automated software testing: It is the field where all
IT industries are working , top IT companies are
developing efficient way to test their software in just
few ticks of clock.
• Defense: Every country want a smart force for their
security they are developing many tools and robots
to do the work in a smart way and to reduce the
chances of lose of human in war.
• Smart grids: As the shortage of electrical energy is
biggest problem in India, the distribution companies
are working on smart grids, one day your energy
meter will ask you: Sir can I reduce your AC’s
temperature by 5 degree Celsius, I will pay you 100
Rs for that .
• Space research: Everyone want to explore the world
out of our world, every space research organization
is working to make unmanned vehicles and robots
to accomplish there tasks without lose of humans.
• Robotics: When anyone hear automation the first
thing strikes in there mind is robotics , today it is the
most innovative field top IT companies are working
on them including Google and Microsoft . The latest
trend in robotics is development of animal
structures.

Big impact in next five years
Building automation is the most
growing field but everyone
working for large buildings if we
work to make compact and low
cost systems for homes it will
directly impact the people living
in small homes and they will
switch to smart homes.
INTEREST AREAS
My interest areas are:
Smart Grids, Smart homes, Building automation, Utilization of Energy, Automatic health services, Renewable
Energy Sources, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things
(IoT).
I will work to make low cost and small & smart systems for homes and commercial buildings they systems will
based on:
• Utilization of electrical energy(automation in switching and remotely accessible appliances etc.)
• Renewable energy resources (solar power, bio-energy and wind etc.)
• Building automation (automated doors and windows, security systems etc.)
• Simply I will work to make people’s life better and easier.
If you give me the opportunity to work with you by giving me that internship I will never
disappoint you because I believe in continuous change, I will work for the society to give them a
better lifestyle and continuous growth of your organization.
