CHERISH Home is an Orphanage dedicated to provide a Stable ,Loving Family Atmosphere to the children who lost their parents. Ours is a Family of 40. visit: www.cherish-foundation.org
Description
WHY WE HAVE TAKEN UP THIS CHALLENGE
From last 8 years we were conducting children camps and awareness programs in the some slum areas of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and other areas (India).
There we came into touch with many orphan children who are literally neglected, without any help and education. Some situations moved our hearts with compassion for those children who were suffering with hunger, poverty and loneliness.
We recognized our call and God’s will in our life, obeyed to His call. Burdened deep inside the heart for the unwanted and neglected children, to share the love of God and to fill the innocent lives with joy and happiness.
To understand their pricking problems, God prepared us for 5 years, testing us through the furnace of affliction. After Praying for 5 years, in His time, confirming that it is perfectly and undoubtedly God’s will then we started it in the name of Cherish Home in the year 2005.
HOW IT GOT STARTED
During Christmas season, we use to distribute old clothes near the railway stations and other slum areas. That time we came into contact with a small boy of 5 years begging around at the “Kachiguda Railway station”(Hyderabad, India) along with his grand parent. We spoke to that man asking him to send the boy with us, so that we would give him food, shelter and education. His grandfather agreed to send the boy with us in a weekday's time. Four times he came to leave the boy with us, but we delayed in starting this orphanage due to our financial condition, hence we couldn't keep him with us. This boy’s approach quickened us to start this orphanage. Like this Cherish Home came into being with 3 children.
VISION
OUR VISION is to make each and every child to be self dependent and self independent with a bright career. Based on the areas of their interest we want to make them professionals like doctors, engineers, lawyers, social workers, IAS and IPS etc., Children are growing up in utmost fear and knowledge of God.
At present there are 35 children between the age group of 6 –16 yrs with 16 Boys and 19 Girls. There is a couple and a wardens who stay along with children to take care with love. Future expansion is planned for another 5 children for the academic year 2010-11. By faith and commitment we are forwarding to take up the children to promote the best standards to these lives.
This is a short love story of a guy who fell in love with a girl and even after facing so much trials and tribulations, his divine love for her remained till the end

Parenting dillemas:
· Nevaeh is 3 years old and has recently become a big sister for the first time. Her parents have been busier than usual getting used to having two children to take care of, and Nevaeh hasn’t seemed like her normal self since the birth of her brother. She has had several episodes involving tantrums and aggressive behavior, which is unusual for her. She is normally a well-behaved child and hasn’t had issues with aggressive or inappropriate behavior in the past. Nevaeh’s mother has been a stay at home mom since she was born, therefore she has not experienced day care or settings in which she is exposed to other children for extended periods of time until this point in her life.
· Carsten (Age 4) is the son to a loving mother and father. He has recently started kindergarten and is having fun making friends with his classmates. One day, his mom and dad got a call on their home phone asking them if they had some time after pickup to chat with his teacher. The mother and father agreed to stay after and have a talk with Carsten’s teacher. The parents arrived at the kindergarten at the designated pickup time. Once all of Carsten’s classmates had been picked up, the teacher sat down with the family in her office. The teacher then informed Carsten’s parents that he is having trouble paying attention in class and is becoming a distraction to the other students. The teacher also expressed her concern with his learning progress as Carsten is having a difficult time learning to read and write. The teacher concluded with telling the parents that Carsten has made minimal progress in the 3 months he has been in Kindergarten. Carsten understood what the teacher is saying and is clearly distressed and upset. He told his parents that he doesn’t want to leave his friends and is sorry that he isn’t doing well.
· Ben and his father are new to the community and have decided to attend library programs to meet new friends. Ben is in preschool and loves coming to the library. Ben and his father are both engaged in story time and song with the librarians. When it is time for individual activities, Ben will choose one game and stay there for the entire time. One day, Ben was playing with Play-Doh for the majority of the independent activity time. Another child wanted a turn at the station, so Ben’s father asked if he would like to try a new activity so the other child can have a turn. Ben ignored his father and grabbed onto the Play-Doh tray. After asking Ben again, he began to groan loudly and rock back and forth. At this point, Ben began to scream.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

1. AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Maricel T. Pacariem, a 16-year-old girl was
born on March 18, 1993 at Mariano Marcos Memorial
hospital in Batac, Ilocos Norte. She resides at
Brgy#30 Monte Paoay, Ilocos Norte. Her father is
Mr. Cesar D. Pacariem and he is a Brgy. Official at
Ilocos Norte. Her mother is Mrs. Maribel T. Pacariem
and she is a housewife. Maricel has 2 sisters named
Angeline Pacariem and Abegail Joy Pacariem. She is the eldest among
them.
Maricel’s parents are both supporting her in her since a child.
They always make her happy all the time. They are both thankful and
happy when she was born. When she was a baby, they give her
everything she wants. Every time her birthday comes, they always give
her a birthday party. When she reach the age of six, they already sent
her to school to study in pre-elementary level at Monte Primary School.
During her nursery and kindergarten, she received many awards and she
is also the top achiever in their school. Every time she went home, she
always open her Abakada booklet to read he words inside of it. At
home, her mother is her teacher. When her mother is leaving her, she
is always crying because she wanted her mother to be always at her
side to teach her. During her graduation in pre-elementary, she is the
first honor at their school and she also received many other awards.
Her parents are very happy after her graduation. She went home with
many medals. As time passes by, she is already at elementary level and
she still studied at the same school until grade four. Every grading
exam, she always gets a high score because she is always studying her
lessons at home. She joined many contests during that time. She is also
a good dancer and a little bit good in singing. She really loves to dance
and because of her talent, she is always participating whenever there is
a contest in dancing. She is always the star dancer that time because
she really did her best just to make them proud of her. At that time
also, her teachers are forcing her to join in a search. Even though she
didn’t won, she is still proud of herself because at least she had done
her best to be in front of many people
2. After grade four, she transferred to other school because there
is no grade five to six at Monte Primary School. She transferred at
Paoay Central Elementary School. She was at the star section until
grade six. Even if she transferred to other school, she tried her best
to study hard. She is always participating at their class. She met many
friends in that school. Shermaine became her best friend until now.
They share secrets with each other and they are always together when
they are at their school. She recites whenever there are recitations
after the discussions. Because of her hardships in studying, she always
receives an award. She always proves to her parents that she can do
her very best to study. Even if her parents scolded her, it is not a
reason for her to be not serious on her studies. During her grade five,
it is too hard for her to adjust in her new school because she doesn’t
have any friends yet. But as time passes by, slowly, she met her
friends. They did much laughter with her friends. Most enjoyable part
of her grade five was their camping. They slept in a tent with her
barkada. When they are already going to sleep, they shared their
stories about ghosts. Those days were so enjoyable and happy. She
wishes that those days would happen again. It is summer time and she
was so excited to go to their family house at Laoag city where her
mother was born and raised. On the second day of the vacation, she
used to go Laoag for her vacation with her family. They went to many
places at Laoag. They rode on a jeepney of her grandfather. They swam
on a beach and ate many kinds of foods. She was so happy during their
vacation. It’s time to go back to school and she was so happy to see her
friends again. She was so happy when her classmates on grade five are
still her classmates on grade six. On the first day of their class, they
shared about their vacation during summer. She told everybody that she
spent her vacation in Laoag with her family. During their grade six, they
have much fun with each other. She was so happy that they are still
her classmates. Graduation time is coming and they were so sad. They
cried during their graduation because they will be missing each other.
It’s high school time. She is then at new school and met new
friends. During their first year of high school, she met new friends and
Leslie became her best friend. Her friends during her first year were
John Paul, and Bryan. They were both gays. They went to many places
during their vacant time and they were having fun when they were all
3. with together. She was the top three of the class and during their
recognition time, she was awarded as third honor. When she reached
second year and third year, her classmates did not change. They were
being more close together with her classmates. Much fun, laughter’s and
secrets were shared during those days. Now that they are in fourth
year, they were so sad because it is their last year together. They
used to spend their time in a going out. After their class or during their
vacant time, they used to go to puro at Callaguip. Ilocos Norte. They
ate their lunch there with her barkada. Her high school life was so
incredible and enjoyable. During their graduation, they were all so sad.
Its their last time together. After the graduation, they went to the
houses of their classmates. They ate many foods.
She was so shocked when her parents told her that she is going to
study at Laguna where her aunt was teaching. She didn’t expect it but
she just tried her best to adjust. She took up BS Education and at the
first day, she met her new friends. They were so kind to her always.
They have also much fun with her new friends. During their intramurals,
they join the cheering but they did not win. As time passes, they were
all being close to her.
She is hoping that she will finish her studies to help her family
and to have a better life at the future…………….
