Auguste Rodin was a famous French sculptor from 1840-1917 who created many iconic works such as The Thinker and The Gates of Hell. He had a long relationship with fellow sculptor Camille Claudel from 1864-1943 where they collaborated on pieces like The Kiss and Eve from the 1880s-1890s. Many of Rodin's works are now on display at the Rodin Museum in Paris.
