Managing Screen Time - The Student's Perspective

1:1 Device Theft in K-12 Schools
This document summarizes the results of a survey and interviews about device theft and loss in K-12 schools with 1:1 programs. The key findings were:
- 58% of schools purchase insurance for devices at an average cost of $27 per device. Insurance is worthwhile if theft occurs more frequently than once per 15 devices.
- Device theft is rare, occurring on average once per 700 devices. Loss is more common, with one device lost or misplaced for every 230 devices.
- Location tracking is the most desirable feature to help recover lost or stolen devices. Law enforcement is more likely to investigate if large numbers of devices are stolen.

environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land

- 1. 1. 2. Admin configuration for schools This document explains how to make changes in your admin console in order to scan emails using Auditor by Securly. We will be configuring an additional route for the selected OU Users. This will cause copy of emails being sent or received by the students in that OU to be delivered to Securly's monitoring servers. The content of these mails will then be scanned by the Auditor servers for Sentiment Analysis. Once you have these settings in place, you will be able to see the alerts on the Auditor Dashboard after logging in. Login to your Admin console Go to Apps > Google Apps > Settings for Gmail

- 3. 6. 7. Provide a name to the setting, e.g. Auditor and add email server as "use-smtp.auditor.securly.com". Specify port number as "25". Make sure that you un-check "Require TLS Delivery" option and check "Perform MX Lookup on host" option Click on "Save" to save the newly create mail route.

Scroll down to the bottom to select "Routing Options" and click on "CONFIGURE". Select the options as shown below: Scroll down and select "Add more recipients" under "Also deliver to" option.
