The filmmaker received feedback from audiences on their short film "Desensitised" through a questionnaire. The results showed that: 1) Most audiences felt the film was a typical drama genre. 2) While some felt it was similar to other films, most felt it was different and unique. 3) Audiences agreed that the film used the proper codes and conventions of the drama genre. 4) The storyline was viewed as realistic rather than unrealistic.

1. 3. What have you leant from your audiences feedback?
Our target audience for our short film Desensitised are teenagers+. Although our short film
contains only the female gender it is also aimed at the male audience as well this may be
due to gaining pleasure.Decentised is a film that is based on other films like fish tank,
harry brown and ill manors. Where the ending subverts the stereotypes portrayed
at the beginning.
The characters used In our short film are also of a middle class background which helps
relate to the audience making them feel emotionally involved in the film this leads to the
characters gaining sympathy from the audience.
I have created a questionnaire for our short (Desensitised) film in order to receive audiences
feedback. The reason for me creating a questionnaire and not filming people is because most
people I have asked preferred not to be filmed and so I have come up with a solution that suits
me and the audiences.
